noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

It's prudent, to be honest. If the question comes up then answer accordingly. Do not volunteer this information. If your usage was in the past and you no longer use then you will probably only have a psych eval, which will delay you a few weeks. It's no big deal but it is something that you'll face if you have been a user.

Greenbaum Tips: During this whole process and most importantly during your interview be honest. You do not have to "volunteer" information and when a question is asked then answer with a short and to the point answer. Don't tell a story as you will give "information" that the CO can use for further questioning. Remember, the CO's at the Embassy's are well trained to uncover any deceit. That's my tip and my warning. I witness this first hand as I waited for my wife to process. I was sitting close to an interview window and I followed the questioning of a girl and she was caught trying to get a visa for her and her sister's son under the auspices that she was the mother and the "son" with her was her bio son. Didn't work and within 2 min the CO was able to unearth the fraud. BANNED!

Congratulations to all the NOA2 approvers!

As for me, my fiancé called the USCIS and he got pissed off and not satisfied by the customer service agent 😅. We got our NOA 1 April 4, the agent said that it’s on the move and we shall see updates online. Oh well, atleast we got no RFE. Hopefully this week or next week we get all what we wish for!

Stay positive guys!

Spread the love - hopeful one from PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭

I have a few recommendations that you can do now while waiting as your case number will be soon.

Has the beneficiary been an OFW whereupon they have lived in another country for more than 6 months from the age of 16? If so you need to determine if they need a police certificate from that country.

Be sure to get an NBI report now with all AKA's searched and a Birth Certificate to look over that all the information is factual with proper names and spelling. Now is the time to fix things.

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get done. To smooth that trail for you I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course, it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps, he includes the what, when and why to complete the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next, you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like-minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread is processing through another country they would be hard-pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

I have a question.  My fiance has a daughter that will be turning 13 in the next couple of weeks.  I know her daughter has to do the medical but do I have to pay to have her do the interview or just fiance has to do the interview?  Thank you! <3

I was just having that same thought... Weird as it seems like there is still the normal amount of approvals. Is that something someone does manually on here?

I think the information on this website gathers information from their members. If no one updates their timeline with new notice(s) et al, it won't update
