I have already sent in my I-130 for processing and received a receipt number priority date February 13th. I chose the Embassy to be Dominican Republic. Was this form suppose to be filled out differently to do this option? What should i do next to make this CR1 visa happen?

I think you’re all good with the I-130 application package. All you need to do is wait between 10-12 months for approval if your package was scrupulously filed. And the visa your husband will get if he’s approved after the interview is called the CR1

To be honest, i dont know how it works, but I think you already filed for CR1. But you can always read forums here about it, lots of people apply for it too. Sorry that i cant help more.

Unlike the K1 Visa which requires that the foreign fiancé marries the USC within 90 days upon arrival in the USA before applying to adjust status, the CR1 visa holder gets a conditional green card a few weeks after arriving the US

It does look like I did. Just read more on it and it is what I have done already.

Thank you, I will definetely do that!

Nothing in the mail today for me :( but I called uscis. I have to wait for a call back from tier2. The estimated time 333minutes :/ i hope it is going to be sooner than that.

That was the same estimated time for me as well. It took about 4 hours. When they called it came up as 'Scam Likely' on my iPhone so just make sure you answer if that happens!

I also don’t understand there is a question about SSN. If I want to be issued a SSN. I have one from work and travel program but it has restricted conditions so I want to keep it but change it to regular one and also with my name second name. What should I answer ??

Thanks everyone for the help!

after you get married, return to the closest ASC office and change the name on you SSN card.  After you get naturalized or receive your greencard , return to ASC office and them issue a new card without restrictions written on it.

I didnt try yet, I guess I will just wait another week as I still am at the regular processing time, after 30 days pass since delivery date I will call.

Always good idea to check the edition date the day you send out the forms.

Yay! :D Glad to hear. Sorry about your EAD, hopefully you’ll be able to fix it and get it sent back in no time. At least you can stop worrying now!

We used US bank and there enough was money for it. I have no explanation right now.

Hi Everybody,

I am so embarrassed to admit - I discovered eventually what the issue was and it was totally and entirely our fault...
The reason why my EAD and AP were rejected was that we did not send AOS petition at all! We were in such a hurry to get to Fedex on time that we did not have a final check and 18 page petition just stayed in one of our folders... I just have no words...

ROC:  Received Jan 25 2021    NOA 1: February 25 2021 (LIN/Nebraska).    BIOMETRICS: April 30  2021
APPROVED: June 23 2021     CARD DELIVERED:   June 30 2021

AOS:          Received Date:  April 2      NOA 1:  April 5 2018
Biometrics:  April 27  Fingerprint Review Was Completed:  April 30
Case Ready to be scheduled: May 3
( that update only showed up in August! after being notified about EAD&AP )
EAD&AP  We approved your case:  August 8   /  In the mailbox:  August 16 2018
Interview   -    March 14 2019    (
Notice Date:  February 1)  -   Approved!

Exactly! The lady said there will be a letter explaining what is wrong with the ead, so it probably will be something small just to fix and send next day, hopefully.

Hello Pattyandvern, I am so happy for you. I seem to be the only one left. I see that it took some of us approx 17 days to get the texts and emails. Today is my 16th day. I am hoping I get it this midnight or tomorrow midnight. If not, I will call them. By the way, what number do I call? Kindly help me with that? Thank you.

Some of us, like me, never received e-notifications... and I think I wont get them at all because all my documents were sent already, as the tier2 told me (unless it were just words and they never send it yet, we will see in the next fee days) I highly recommand you to call, it really will calm you down a lot.
