I mean I do agree with you, but I do believe there's a big difference in between Egypt and the US.
The US can be very conservative, but nothing compared to Egypt.

anyone speaking multiple languages can search for jobs on the cruise ships (online just use google )
they have 5, 6 and 7 months contracts
you do have to work 7 days a week while working a contract
then you will have several months off while waiting for your next bid (contract)
this is not living in the US but ports in the US
the companies fly employees to the port and back to their country when contracts are finished
the cruise ships out of Florida employ many foreigners as i said because many speak and write several languages

Congrats on your NOA2. Did you decide to proceed with the K1? I know that you stated in a previous post that you found out the relationship wasn’t authentic and you wanted to possibly withdraw the petition. Either way I wish you the best. Be cautious, as DR is known as a high fraud country for marriage scams for the purpose of immigration. Wishing you the best.

    I respectfully disagree.

I don't want @mochitw to receive an RFE like so many others have received.  I'm 99% sure they will send an RFE if they don't do the following:

Please ask your fiancé to get a certified copy of the charges from the court and sent the original to USCIS.  There will be stamps and seals on this document.  Just marking the box is not enough.  USCIS wants to see the final disposition of any criminal charge that is not a minor traffic offense.

OMG good point.  I had to tell an employee at a spanish immersion school in Mexico who had learned spanish in Spain to find a new word for "to catch".  Mistakes like that are half the fun!

Immersion is really the way to go. This is a great idea!  I hope you get a group going. Unfortunately, I'm on the East Coast and can't help.

As a tip, keep in mind we all have different accents and dialects in Spanish so if you get a lot of us together, you will learn how to say the same thing in multiple ways. Some words will have different meaning too... in Argentina, the word for jacket has a VERY different meaning in Mexico.

C-ma'am reacted to geowrian in Filing I-129F abroad
There's no issue with filing the petition while abroad.
The I-134 for the interview (several months later) can be an issue if you don't obtain employment that will continue once in the US, or find a co sponsor (or self-sponsor since London permits it).

That said...have you considered marrying then doing DCF? This is faster, cheaper, and the CR-1 (spousal) visa is much better than a K-1 since no AOS is required after entry.
I know UK has marriage rules, but you can marry outside the UK still.

To say that I did not have any anxiety going back to work it would be a lie. Since we moved last year, Mini was going to daycare twice a week for socialization and to allow me to do some things that are better taken care of without children (i.e getting a mammography). Mini has been SUPER attached to me and I was very anxious about daycare even if he was going to keep going to the same place he had been going for the past year.
I started sending him for the full week, a week before I actually started working. I was dropping him off at a time when his teacher was there and he was OK, however, the drop off time once I started the job was going to be an hour prior to her arrival.... Tears.. lots of tears and MAMAAAAAAAAASSS. It didn't help that the teacher who received him in the morning, doesn't normally "deal" with 3 year-old kids and was not very helpful.

All in all, it took him a week to get into the rhythm of things.  We've been tear free for almost 2 weeks and it's been such a relief for me. The guilt has gone down a few notches and balance is being restored. I truly needed to start working. This past winter was brutal and you probably know the feeling better than me (not being able to be outside, turning into the entertainer for the little ones, etc, etc). So, this too shall pass, mama! That's what I kept telling myself, even when he refused to take a bath and screamed bloody murder.

I hope you find out what your schedule will be soon. I'm sure that preparing for that structure will give you more peace of mind too. Best wishes on the new job! 🤗

Well, well, well... Hello, hello, hello!

After a year of dedicating my life to Mini-C and enjoying life, I've decided to go back to work.
I started a new job a month ago and I'm super happy. Mini-C was not so happy and rebelled a little... all of a sudden, he was scared of the drain in the tub and refused to take a bath. Thankfully,  that didn't last long 😬
We are building a pool and it's been hot AF, so hopefully we'll get to enjoy it soon.

How did she read it wrong?

You laughed after telling her she was going to continue to pay her attorney for doing nothing.

OP: I agree with others above, you've already sent in quite a bit and I would check with the attorney to make sure he/she has sent in everything you gave to them.

If they really want more you can send in proof of joint car insurance policies, proof of joint health insurance, life insurance listing each other as beneficiaries, joint credit card accounts, joint home utility bills(electric, gas, cable, cell phone ect).

Not sure why he/she would ask for tax transcripts when you already sent joint tax returns, it's redundant.

Who gives a rip about the White House !

Good, hopefully you sent enough tree products with printing on them. USCIS seems to love to denude forests. Initially for our ROC we sent in around six pounds of evidence (paper). Months later after the RFE, we send in another near four pounds of paper, everything 'cept the kitchen sink. Don't bother with affidavits, they are at best secondary, weak evidence of nothing. I believe the key was that we included wills, living wills and durable powers of attorney with the RFE. That seemed to satisfy the adjudicator's quest for "marriage bonafides."

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Send in the tax from last year, DL showing same address, are you beneficiary on each others retirements, insurance and all that good stuff?

OK. This is highly confusing. There are too many dates going back and forth.

So the important question is... what is the official (not fake) divorce date? That is what is important. He can't put 2016 because he was still officially married in 2016. You have to put the official divorce from the official documents of divorce from the courts.

It may be best to have your friend get a lawyer to help with his case because he has already made a big mistake on his last K1 which is now on file. If he continues to mess up he will only make it impossible for him to get approved.

There is no text book meaning that the “only” or “correct” way of getting married is to have a traditional ceremony with guests. That’s silly. A courthouse wedding within the 90 days upon arrival into America is good enough.
