A brief history of this thread: it started off as a place for VJers to rant, vent, talk.  It has evolved into an everyday friendly (and rude) conversation.

Our neighbors haven't mowed their backyard now at all since the snow melted.

 

The town sent them a letter and they mowed the front, but not the back. Their yard is so small, there is just no excuse for it.

 

I checked the records and they didn't pay their property taxes this year, no escrow, so I'm guessing no house insurance, which is why we haven't gotten the info from them yet. I think we are just going to proceed to suing them, and then putting a lien on the house if there isn't any funds to seize.

So....it’s official now....my father likes my husband more than he does me....they are going on a backpacking/camping/fishing trip to Colorado in July.

The last time my father wanted me to go camping/fishing/backpacking with him was 1979 (family trip my mother and sister went too....I was 8 years old)

I know how you feel, my ahole neighbors 2 houses didn't mow their yard for over 5 weeks. They just mowed it this week because they had people come in from out of town which is the only reason they mowed it. 

 

The good but stressful thing is that we close on our house this week. We are so excited because this is our first house.

I would agree....but my father came into my office last week and asked what my husband was doing for lunch that day (at noon....when I had not had lunch). So they went and had pizza.....(and for someone who hasn’t had carbs in a few days....me.....that’s like....well....an emotional breakdown) 

 

I’m feeling a bit bitter right now.

Laundry finally subdued, 2x2x2+1 loads man.

After Many (2+1) servings of probiotic powder, cat still has diarrhea, refractory miu man.

We never conceived that a critter this small could pupu so much, miu pupu like an elephant man.

We don't know what the next step is, must ask vet man.

 

Mini-B. starts a robotics camp on Mon., let's see if he likes it man.

 

We are exhausted, exhausted we man.

Weather bloke had promised us an entire week of lower temps and low humidity.  Already shortened that to four days, but I will take what I can get. I've yard work to get to, the lawn to mow, yada yada.

I took the dog to the vet Saturday past, the staph infection she had last summer is back. Two more weeks of drugs every eight hours with my handy dandy pea shooter. She hates me already.

Himself had labs drawn last week, we questioned the tech to make sure they drew them all this time. Oh yes, everything's here. No as it happens, it was not. No liver panel, no cyclosporine level done. One job, people, one job. He will have to go back, and they helpfully said it will be two weeks until they fit him in. Nonsense, the place is a brand new facility and I've never seen another patient in the place.

In her voice mail, the nurse told me his renal numbers are not that good. I've had a look at the last set of results, and the latest numbers are an improvement. Also not unexpected having been on anti rejection meds for seven years.

I give up with these people. I've spoken to the transplant team in TN, they will deal with this nutter.
