The only thing NVC does for you as a k1 applicant is to issue a case number. You do not upload anything to NVC, you have to carry your supporting documents to the embassy.

Congratulations!  And very well done on your choice of field for education and work.  We desperately need good people in law enforcement.  My husband was in business banking in NZ for 30 years before coming to the US, and it had always been a goal of him to work in law enforcement.  He's now on his 3rd promotion/2nd agency locally.  Best wishes for your future.

I got married through Utah zoom marriage and I already have my Immigrant Visa in hand. As long as you consummated, the marriage is legal for immigration purprses. You'll be fine

I was approved. Visa in hand already

I wasn't DQ'd. I was Expedited at NVC. I didn't even spend a month at NVC. 

I submitted attestation of birth. 

Case was approved, just be patient.
I think the usually tell you up to 2 weeks to get your passport back.

It only changes to issued when they actually print the visa. In some consulates that still takes days after verbal approval.

it just means no one has updated the system and they will when the visa is printed 
it will then say "issued"

Thankfully they settled, he wouldn't need to change anything. Love conquers all!  

Something like this has happened before. The guy lied to his fiance he got a visa to visit her, he collected money from her claiming he could get a cheaper ticket from our local ticket dealers, he lied also about him boarding the plane and landing at the airport, also had one of his friends call to say he was detained at the airport and would be sent back home. She found out after she posted the supposed e visa and we told her "sorry, you've just been scammed"
 
That call never came from CBP, sorry! 
 
He probably thinks he can continue the process now without u. He's probably far away from the airport now 🥱

What your wife ticked is the SSN card not the green card. If you haven't paid for your green card, it won't be mailed out.

It means that they’ve moved your case from the right of their desk to the left, because they needed to make room for their coffee mug. Additionally, they might have cleared the dust it was collecting, to make room for some more.
