Your husband has no power to have you deported.  You are a legal resident of the US.....I would IMMEDIATELY find a competent divorce attorney and file.  You must protect yourself physically and legally.....and inform your attorney of his threats.

You are NOT his property......and neither is YOUR Green Card his property.  Your green card is only evidence of your status.....it does not convey status......your stamped passport is also evidence of your status.....good luck.

@Boiler is correct.  Do that right now....

I agree with @Jorgedig. Nothing with immigration is immediate. This is one of the biggest downfalls of the K1; the limbo of not being able to do anything. The request was already approved so there is not much else you can do.

Hopefully the company can be a little more patient.

ClickityClackity reacted to African Zealot in Issues with my in-laws
After just one year together you’re ready to divorce your wife because her parents have a greater hold over her than you do? Isn’t that typical for patriarchal cultures like yours where it takes some time for a young couple to become truly independent of their parents and in-laws? Don’t you think you’ve not yet done enough to earn her loyalty, I mean you’ve just been in her life perhaps a couple years and lived with her once while they’ve been in hers for twenty something or more years.

And if you love her, wouldn’t you want to put a little more time into extricating her from the grip of her parents who are supposedly financially abusing her? Loyalty typically grows with time.

You mean you didn’t know these things or had hints of it before coming to America on her sponsorship? You claim you have a good relationship with your wife but simultaneously you want to divorce her? Well others have already answered your question so I don’t really have much to add.

Good luck with whichever choice you decide to go with.

ClickityClackity reacted to Unlockable in Refused tourist VISA for 2x DUI's Medical
Once again, it is not the doctor who needs to be lenient… it is the counselor officer who will make the decision on whether the OP gets the visa. The doctor does nothing but report his medical history.
Also, everyone seems to be hooked up on the cannabis use, when in actuality, it is the two (2) DUI’s that is more damaging to the OP’s character. Like I said before, the US has no shortage of people who want to visit. The US government issues about 5 – 6 million visitor visas a year. So the counselor the counselor officer does not have to be easy on the OP because s/he will know there are plenty of other applicants who have never had a DUI nor used drugs.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been able to respond until now - I’ve been working all day and just finally got some free time.

So yea like my fiancé has been saying... we applied for a K1 visa, everything went smooth, the interview seemed to go great and we were excited to hear that he was approved; but then we went into AP, and still until this day were still under AP. I had to reach out to the embassy to find out that his petition had been revoked and sent back to UCSIS. He then had to go pick up his passport, and was solely given his passport with no slip or anything. We also haven’t been told as to why our petition was revoked. It’s been quite messy and frustrating. I’ve been told the US administration has a lot to do with it but I’m not sure what to think?

Anyway, we've been debating on whether to re apply for the K1 visa OR the CR1 visa.

let me know what i can do here to help resolve our issue :)! Thanks for your time!

It is highly highly NOT recommended to have ANY type of ceremony before you enter on a k1. Often times this can make you “look too married” and result in a denial. If having a religious ceremony in Bolivia is important to you you should come on a k1, get married and once you have your green card or AP then go back to Bolivia to have the ceremony.

My brother, in order to be a US citizen, you have to take Oath of Allegiance. I am just gonna quote the relevant part here. They will ask you if you understand it and if you are willing to do it. You have to answer truthfully, from the bottom of your heart.
”...that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United Stateswhen required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God”

If you are not willing to do it, you cannot become a US citizen.

    Dear

It has to be a fiancé visa, as for the spouse visa the “pareja de hecho” is a status not valid.

Right, because the only basis for divorce is violence or bestiality. Also, reading what the OP is writing this does not seem like a "one-off" kind of thing. This is continuous and deliberate.  It isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things? How hard do you work for your money?

Both jumped the gun? What kind of reality do you live in? OP's wife should know the value of things and that money doesn't grow on trees. Also if she likes shopping maybe she can get a job to sustain it. I wouldn't dare go to my fiancé or anyone else and just ask for money to "shop around".
     That's just delusional.
