Unless they separated the two of you during the initial interview, I wouldn't worry too much about it (and even if they did as stated above refusals are rare). It's up to them to proof you are not legit inorder to be denied, not for you to proof you are legit to be approved.
 
If they do decide to sent you an RFE don't worry about that either. RFE applications are no longer counted in the official backlog and some feel (including me) they are used on occasion to make the numbers look better. Just respond to the RFE even if it asks for stuff already submitted and continue to wait.
 
They have around 120 days to make a decision so unfortunately you are nowhere near being outside of "normal" times.
As long as you have your combo card there is nothing preventing you from continuing with your life. Do not let this process control your life (easier said than done, but still).

Had the same thing happen and all I did was put an inquiry. Got approved 3 days later. Things happen. Definitely inquire on it. You will be fine

Why do you think the interview didn’t go well? Was something specific said? Maybe others can advise of what happened to you is normal. I didn’t go through AOS so I don’t know what’s “normal” but sometimes we think something didn’t go well because of a certain line of questioning or a comment was made that is actually perfectly normal. 

We do that and aren’t waiting for anything immi related LOL

Keep the faith.  AOS rarely  results in a failure.  If anything they might ask for more information. 
 
Do something fun and try to relax and reduce the anxiety.  My spouse gets real anxious about things so I find ways to distract her.  I'll take her on a little trip or distract her with another project or class.

Netflix + wine. 😉

Probably not the easiest to do during a pandemic though let's be fair.

Just have Faith...Everything looks like its going well for you guys so focus on those and everything will play out the way it's meant to be.

Don't lose hope.  We had radio silence after my husband's AOS interview for almost a month, and this was pre-covid.  
 
Some field offices/officers have larger than normal workloads, and I'm sure the closures during the spring and summer added to the backlogs.
 
AOS denials are uncommon.
 
 

It's been a crazy week!
 
Just a quick update!
 
To board a flight from Pakistan a covid test must be taken (and negative) a few days before.  My husband traveled back to Islamabad to complete the Covid test and fly to USA from there.  He flew Qatar to (stopping at Doha) JFK  (JFK POE was quick and smooth).  He was out of the airport after landing in under 45min (this includes getting off the plane, immigration and bag collection).
 
We both still feel like this is all a dream and so very Thankful!

This is such wonderful news and I am beyond happy for you and your family!

My husband's first interview was on his birthday in 2017 and did not end as we hoped.    His third and final trip to Islamabad embassy happened to be on my birthday.  After spending 4 hours at the embassy he walked out with Visa in hand (yes this actually happened)!!!

Last wednesday my status also changed to them scheduling a new interview date. Hoping to get the notice soon and I hope it wont be too late by the time I get it haha. But it is usually more than a month out (it was in March for me before it was cancelled), so I hope it is the same now.

On July 10, 2020 my USCIS online updated and I was excited to see that my new interview has been scheduled. Haven’t received the letter yet though, but that should be *hopefully* coming soon.

Please call the non-emergency line of her local police department and ask them to do a wellness check.   You don’t have to reveal any details: the fact that her friends and family have not heard from her is enough for the police to do a check.

Thank you for sharing! I'm out of the Jacksonville office and my case status has been showing ready to be scheduled for an interview since February 7th. I'll start keeping a closer eye out! Out of curiosity how many weeks in advance is the interview date from the status change?

You have the info- why not report it? You would do your part and then it’s up to CBP/USCIS to follow up if they choose.. it may or may not go anywhere but at least you did what you felt was right.
 
Personally I think adjusting status from visas other than k1 should have been removed years ago. You are telling me people actually travel to a foreign country with their life documents, no home, car or job any more and didn’t “plan” to stay ? Yeah.. 😒

Everything happens for a reason.
 
I visited my now-husband over 40 times during the period we were “dating”, engaged , early days of marriage whilst waiting for my CR-1 to be complete. Many times I wished I would have just stayed. We even turned around on the way to the airport once when I was due to fly home and called the airline and changed my ticket to have another week because I couldn’t bear to leave. 
 
Adjusting status is very “final”. Once you’ve started the process, you have to continue to the end or find yourself in an even worse situation of having to start the whole visa process again and the possibility of not being able to visit during it (your days of VWP would be over and trying to convince a consular officer that you are not going to overstay on a B-2 when you have done exactly that before on the VWP is going to be a mammoth task). 
 
Also, it leaves you without the option to properly tie up your affairs back home, bid farewell to friends and family, enjoy your last months in your homeland before you leave for good. I am glad that I didn’t listen to my heart when I was visiting and decide to stay. I’m glad I listened to my head. I enjoyed those final months in England. I spent my time traveling around the country, seeing friends and family that I would not be able to see for a long time (someone also for the very last time), went on boozy nights out with friends, ate as much of my favourite foods as I could, and really overdosed myself on all things England. When my visa came through I was ready to leave. House had been sold, belongings packed and shipped, left my job, said goodbye to everyone. I still miss England but I don’t feel I left in the middle of something, if you see what I mean. I had closed the door properly.
 
I understand you can’t wait to be with your fiancé. We all went through that. But you have your whole lives ahead of you. Enjoy these last months at home - you will miss it when you’re gone.

Field Office Status All Offices Open

My only concern is what google shows ( which could mean nothing but still worrisome to me at least). During the pandemic the offices that were closed said “temporarily closed” in bolded red. Once they started re-opening that wording went away. But when I checked again tonight, after seeing this post, my particular office has the same bolded red closed wording. I checked other field offices; I just typed into the google search bar Illinois field office and the Chicago office doesn’t have that red lettering. It’s messing me up to say the least. I pray it’s nothing... I’m the worry wart type and this is driving me to the brink of madness. I could be wrong so if anybody has any insight please comment!
