What you have sounds good. Also, I would include an explanation about your low income in 2015; Your time spent in Zagora will boost your case for a positive outcome. It is great evidence your marriage is legit

I'd get one to be on the safe side. Here's what the Casablanca consulate says about police reports:

"Each applicant aged 16 years or over is required to submit a police certificate from the
police authorities of each locality of the country of the applicant's nationality or current residence where the
applicant has resided for at least six months since attaining the age of sixteen. Police certificates are also
required from all other countries where the applicant has resided for at least one year. A police certificate must
also be obtained from the police authorities of any place where the applicant has been arrested for any reason,
regardless of the length of residence. Police certificates from certain countries are considered unobtainable. The
consular office will advise you about any particular country".

I have never been a victim of fraud, but for MENA countries, I think USCs need to be very, very aware of red flags, should learn the language on their own and keep that fact to themselves for a while. You would be shocked at the things people say about others (immigration wise and otherwise) as they sit in the same room, assuming they can't understand their language. Much heartache could be avoided with this alone.

You are having headaches and bone aches in England? Oh no! Sounds like a medical expedite for the sibling visa  (..sarcasm mode).

Your family can't sponsor you until they become citizens. Then the process will take like 12 to 14 years. So better find some good painkillers for those English pains.

You walked to England from Afghanistan? Are you an athlete? There is a visa category for athletes.

Your brother cannot petition for you until he becomes a US citizen.

I'm no expert on this, but I'd think that US citizens enjoy the same rights and protection, and then some.

As to what you yourself can do to avoid being manipulated: There've been some very good suggestions in this thread, mostly stressing the importance of really getting to know your intended.  I'd like to add to have your intended meet your friends and family and see how they like him.  They're not all starry-eyed from having just fallen in love, so they might spot some red flags that you didn't.  Also, your life will be much easier if your partner and your loved ones get along well.

As to policy changes: I agree with all the others that the 1-year trial period is a bad idea.  The best approach would be to improve the vetting process, e.g., by requiring joint visa interviews so that the CO can watch how the couple interacts.

That's why I will always advice as much face time as possible. Possibly even living with the foreign partner in their home country for a while. That's unfortunately doesn't guarantee not being scammed but it's still the best way to truly meet someone. Gotta laugh at all those topics when USC goes on about how crazy in love they are with someone who they know through Skype only..  Anyway!

Also I expect this thread to be closed soon (too much space for rants and offensive shi... stuff. ) Sorry!

You say:  "He committed a felony crime". He confessed or were you with him? If you are not sure, chose your words carefully. Allegations are not always true. If convicted, either move with or try to forget him. If found innocent, he stands a good chance to remain in the States with you. Good Luck!

They are both Indians and mostly of a young age. I am almost certain he is older. Culturally, many specs are arranged and the CO s are aware and approve most cases there. Husband will receive Visa in Hand as soon as required documents are supplied.

Please forgive me, but your story does not add up right. Or maybe, you are confused, lied to or just can not communicate well in English.
Ps. If Pablo Escobar was still alive, I d wonder if he is involved somehow lol...But, in all seriousness, think about:
1- You have no "VJ Timeline".
2- You repeated: "Authorized Not to Travel".
3- The USCIS is independent from other Agencies.
(Consultations, background checks ,,,etc do involve other agencies, but the USCIS is the decider here)
4- AP is mostly done on Male Citizens or Visitors of some parts of the world.
You are German and have visited the US on ESTA before; Kind of strange to me.
5- Someone replied that the same story was shared here last year. Was it you?
6- Your Visa is totally independent from the petitioner after it was approved. If he had anything going on,
the K1 would have been denied and never made it to the NVC.
7- Lastly, I doubt very much that you would know anything about investigations involving others,
    unless you re, too, involved.
Other than that, it is very simple to cancel the K1 and end it with this Pablo Escobar already. Good Luck

Most importantly. Actually, more important than any of the Visa/K1/B2 or whatever, clear your name. Make sure you are not in anything criminal knowingly or unknowingly. Good Luck.

Not an easy scenario here, but it can be and has been done before. That said, no doubt the relationship is legit from her end; Given that she s spent one year with you and jeopardized her son s schooling. The son s situation might raise a responsibility issue, and might help too. Now, the CO will look at you, Ayoub, as a potential fraudulent candidate, using an much older woman to better your life. Then, you must prove, and beyond any doubt, that you are willing to throw away any if not all "Moroccan, Muslim MAN" intellect featured in: Wife must be young, Virgin, Fertile, Obedient etc. And mostly, you must prove that you are willing and prepared NOT to have children. Question: Would you marry a Moroccan who is 20 years older? answer honestly and with an explanation. Would your family approve or disapprove? The CO has asked that before and trust me, the CO s know cultures and people very well. Many North African men have married White American older women, and returned to Morocco as soon as they could, and married 30 year younger girls; They used the system and the older women. Prove you are not one of those men, and I am almost certain, you will be granted your Visa. And if denied, just be prepared to fight and wait, and eventually you will be approved, if and only if you are honest. Some here, waited six years and even more.
Ayoub, I hope I was not too harsh nor judgmental, but the facts speak for themselves.
Best of luck to you and to your spouse and inshalah all will be just good.

Make sure that a tourist visa, if denied, won t affect your CR1 visa.
One can never be too careful. Pray for a healthy baby and do not rush things.
Better prepared and spending few extra months in Morocco, than risking being denied
    and waiting for years;

There are VJ members who have gone that horrible route; I wish it
on no one; Unfortunately, They were denied K1, then B2, then CR1 and had to re-apply and submit
and hope and pray and pay and wait and cry and fight and make up and hope .......etc....

Bon Courage! Ps. If you bring her to live with you as you wait for the visa, it ll be good for both of you.

Thank you. I am very new here and still learning. Wow!  12 years here! are you an Immigration Attorney?
Learning is my thing. I will learn until the day I die, and maybe even in the afterlife, if there is one.
But, I am confused.  you wrote: ""Half of us" refer to half of couples" and "About half of this forum (including us) were denied B visas".
Do you refer to all beneficiaries? They/You all applied for B visas and were denied? How do you know?

Is it possible he ll be put on "ADMIN" for the B2? that alone will take months, and this is and only if the B2 is approved.
