This, I was 42 at the time of the medical, I had no records as the health authority at home couldn't find records for me from the 70's. I had the titre test and just needed the Hep B shots, I'd already had chickenpox which showed up on the test too. It'll most likely be cheaper for her to get it done in her home country anyway.

If she doesn't have vaccine records she can do blood titers to show sufficient level of antibodies. Do it before the exam as it can be couple of days to get results back. Some vaccines are contraindicated in pregnancy so she won't have to take them (MMR). You're past the flu season so don't need that one either.

There is a few she needs to have/take but it depends on her demographic; age, gender etc. There is a chart if you search for it. I also find it strange there are no vaccinations taken.. many are required as standard in most countries and given as routine during childhood.

The whole point of these checks is to stamp out risk of these diseases from being spread when vaccinations do just that... Surely this pandemic highlights the need for them?

Logged in yesterday, the estimated completion time was back again, still at January 2021 for me , but at least it hasn't crept up.

And those have not been deemed a global pandemic. That in itself shows the severity of this. The Spanish flu was deadly but did not spread like this due to how deadly it was and killed off those it infected. This is different. It infects and spreads far more dangerously in that you could be asymptomatic etc. The global spread and sheer stats of deaths should truly frighten you?? But no, since it has yet to affect you personally you will shrug your shoulders and say, death happens. Don't normalise this. It's really not.

Oh God. Here we go. Please look at the countries like Italy, Spain and UK. This is NOT like other viruses/flus. It has killed and will continue to kill without a vaccine. Those that are currently self isolating including our elderly and with underlying health conditions are sitting ducks right now. And you may ask how I know this??? ICU nurse here and seeing first hand that this virus does not discriminate. It is still killing those that are healthy and fit normally.

If you are going to be so resolute is your thinking, at least make an informed opinion and not one out of utter ignorance.

Peoples are losing life, jobs and their finances are crashing down in these conditions, a bit wait on the citizenship interview or oath doesn’t seem to be a problem. It’s not like the person will face any issues due to additional wait.

If you fill out the form online early, bare in mind it only holds the information for 30 days, make sure to keep it 'active' by saving every few weeks or it will be blank when you come back to it.

Thanks. I am not too concerned either but just want to get this done. Why can't they just schedule it for December? 🙂  See this court house schedule.

As someone who has applied through a law firm (not rapid visa) I would NOT recommend going through a third party!! Save your money to visit your partner as you will have long waits and the money can be used on other more important things. VJ has a wealth of information and VERY knowledgeable people who can help you every step of the way. In my experience with the law firm we have used they just slow the process down and do not help. I have gotten more information and preparation through asking my questions here than with my lawyers.

In all honesty, before I moved here, I used to bring a copy of my divorce with me to prove I had sole custody of my kiddo for all travel out of my home country. I was only asked about it once  (out of 5 trips) and they were happy with the paperwork.

Children can adjust status and attend school. My son adjusted with me in Minnesota in 2016 and started middle school when we figured we were not going home, no issues. (My Father in law was dying and I didn't want to leave my husband after our vacation) My divorce document stated I had full custody of my son and could travel or move anywhere.

Only difference is I was already married to my spouse (2014 and already in the CR1 process) when we adjusted we already had an approved I-130, just waiting for the interview at the Embassy in Dublin. We adjusted from VWP. I have no problem with my son attending the local school as my husband paid local taxes.

(Our changing track added over a year till we had Green card in hand, but it was worth it to us as we were here for Dads final days and were together for support).
