  1. Yes, if traveling on an expired GC and extension letter, he needs to go directly to the CBP agent. Good Luck!
  2. I don't think you qualify for the F1 category anymore.
  3. Well KK, tell us how you really feel. In remarks on investments to take on climate change yesterday, Vice President Kamala Harris called to "reduce population."
  4. Go to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and apply for an SSN as soon as you can. It will make things easier for you such as opening or being added to `bank accounts, getting a driver's license, etc. The SSA will most likely only issue the SSN in the name on your passport even though you are married, don't worry about that, just get the number, you can straighten out any name changes with the SSA after you get your green card (GC). Also, when filling out the I485, fill it out in the name you want on the GC. Good Luck!
  5. I would not pull the current I130 as you are able to keep it is stasis indefinitely once it reaches the NVC stage until your plans become solid. She can also try for a B2 application that may or may not be approved. Good Luck!
  6. Seems more appropriate here since it is an example of KK being a very petulant boss. I have worked for petulant bosses before, it is usually a crutch they use for their own lack of skill and intelligence. I would say this describes KK very well. Kamala Harris's staff offer unique insights regarding her leadership skills. Some women make great bosses. Kamala Harris is not one of them. According to numerous victim reports, Harris is a workplace abuser and a living nightmare to work for. A walking, babbling mediocrity in a flared-leg pantsuit. Arrogant, bitchy, vindictive, and smug, she has fired or driven away 92 percent of her staff. The survivors who remain are either too battle-scarred or too scared to leave. Kids, blink twice if you need rescuing. https://americanmind.org/salvo/the-final-girlboss/
  7. Didn’t her family own slaves?
  8. Still ongoing. Kansas raid tied to 98-year-old's death in First Amendment showdown to result in criminal charges https://www.yahoo.com/news/kansas-raid-tied-98-olds-180529141.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYmluZy5jb20v&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJF127zFVS2OPNF5Y0CtC3wnul8j9rO2dOD8TEqIVWt7TJGpnewqAF8c2YSRxbsnCM9dlvg925XREibV69W-MaJJTgPJBMycIx95JObEiskiYVNnqhWfuyz_gtJxpDYw_ozZOs2FgcWEqmRGMmtl9HYb-VNUqUxOpBDT3XkhxS5u
  9. Yes, she got the standard “not enough ties to her home country” reason.
  10. I agree with the others, let the I130 go. If you have an AOS interview and they ask about it, you can explain it. Good Luck!
  11. As long as she or whoever she had fill out the DS160 did not materially misrepresent her, it should not be an issue. My now wife was denied a B2 twice and we had no problems. Good Luck!
  12. Giving this one to KK since she is the border czar/tsar. Scathing report reveals Biden-Harris admin has released dozens of migrants on terror watchlist into US EXCLUSIVE: Nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terror watch list have been released into the United States during the Biden administration, while Border Patrol agents have encountered migrants on the watch list from dozens of different countries, a new House report is revealing. "Under the Biden-Harris Administration, of the more than 250 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist who were encountered by Border Patrol at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, DHS has released into American communities at least 99, with at least 34 others in DHS custody but not yet removed from the United States," the report by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee, a copy of which was first obtained by Fox News Digital, says. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/scathing-report-reveals-biden-harris-admin-released-dozens-migrants-terror-watchlist-us
  13. Technically they don’t need to, but it is recommended. Mike E used to have a nice list of why they should, the only thing I can remember is that some government jobs require it.
  14. Hmm, makes sense. US didn’t keep tabs on $293 million in Afghanistan funding, audit finds Read more at: https://www.stripes.com/theaters/middle_east/2024-07-18/afghanistan-terrorist-money-sigar-14525894.html Source - Stars and Stripes
  15. No, you would have had to be a USC at the time of birth. Stay the course on the I130, but I believe after your daughter gets her visa and enters the US, she will become a USC automatically. Good Luck!
  16. You can change the current I751 to a divorce waiver, but keep in mind when you do that, you will get an RFE to provide the final divorce documents within 90 days. I would focus on completing the divorce, then submit the change to divorce waiver and provide the documents. Good Luck!
  17. You can start the process and if the I130 is approved and moves to NVC, you can let it simmer there indefinitely by accessing the case at least once a year. I do not think it would impact ESTA, but others may know better. Good Luck!
  18. Consular Report of Birth Abroad. You refer to her as your daughter, are you a biological parent? If yes, you may be able to pass on US citizenship to her through the CRBA process. If not, then you need to file the I130.
  19. Does CRBA apply for the child?
  20. I tend to agree for the future. Too bad USCIS/DoS does not have an automatic conversion of a GC to a B2 with a valid and processed I407.
  21. I second the thought of getting on a plane and coming back. If there are questions, answer them truthfully, but there is no obligation to give CBP any additional information. Good Luck!
  22. So a rebadged group like the Lincoln Project pedo enablers? Doubt it, she is not smart enough for that.
  23. Most B2 applications are decided by what is put on the DS160. The CO may or may not ask any questions regarding work experience, but if they do you need to answer truthfully. Good Luck!
