  1. I actually had a Dr. suggest putting me on them, and my cholesterol level is always low (it actually triggers "out-of-range" low when I have blood tests). Apparently there are other uses being explored, but I refused.
  2. Great piece by Mr. Prager. He is right though, the mistrust in the US is due to how elections are conducted, and how that has devolved into a mass mail-in voting (which should only be available to those that actually need it, and not just all the lazy folks, or ballot harvesters), and secretive voting machine software. Of course the political parties stoke this mistrust, and even though Democrats deny election results with every bit as much fervor as Donald Trump when they lose, for some reason they get the cover of the MSM and avoid the label of conspiracy theorists even though this is exactly what they are. Anyway, I thought this was key. Now the issue is that in the US, it is essentially 50 separate elections which is fine, I am not advocating a federal takeover of elections, but there should be some conformity as to how elections are handled, and the Carter-Baker Commission is a place to start. America is almost alone among democratic countries in not requiring paper ballots. As of 2023, only Brazil counts all its ballots in national elections through electronic voting. According to Pew Research Center, votes are cast by manually marking paper ballots in 209 of the 227 countries. In France, as reported by the Associated Press, voters "use the same system that's been used for generations: paper ballots that are cast in person and counted by hand." In 2009, Germany's Federal Constitutional Court ruled that voting machines could no longer be used. In 2017, the Dutch government announced that all ballots in the 2017 general election would be counted by hand.
  3. The question is will there be limits to how much people with an eligibility card can take? How will the store enforce any limits? Will it simply just be a case of security watching folks walk out the door with as much of the inventory they can carry in a cart or two?
  4. The real Democrats/left are showing their stripes.
  5. This is fairly normal particularly with flights to the US for foreign soil. I remember traveling to Mexico for work, and I could not check-in on Aeromexico's site/app for my flight back to the US, but instead I had to wait in line and check-in at the airport. Good Luck!
  6. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask them here. Good Luck!
  7. But, but, but Paul Ryan is an election denier. Beyond that, he ushered in massive increases in government spending, and did nothing to tackle immigration even though at the time, the GOP controlled both houses and the WH. He also allowed the House to fall for the Hillary Clinton Russian collusion hoax. Not really a good Speaker, and therefore not really worth listening to. As to FoxNews, they are becoming much more mainstream as a broadcast unit. I read some of the stories they put on their website, but I have not watched a network news or 24hr news site in more than six years and it feels so good to not be tied to their biases whether left or right. After Republicans lost control of the House in the 2018 midterm elections, Ryan suggested that there were irregularities about the election results in California. Ryan said that California's election system was "bizarre", "defies logic" and that "there are a lot of races there we should have won." After Ryan's remarks were reported on, Ryan's spokesperson said "The Speaker did not and does not dispute the results".[156] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Ryan
  8. This should be corrected at the interview, and you can mention to the CO that you have passed your second wedding anniversary. However, even if for some reason the visa is issued as a CR1, it is the date you enter the U.S. with your spousal visa as compared to your wedding anniversary that will make the final determination as to a 2yr vs a 10yr GC. The upshot is regardless of what it says online or even what the visa says, you will be entitled to a 10yr GC when you eventually enter the U.S. Good Luck!
  9. Sure, include any evidence showing your commingling of the marriage. Also, make sure you submit an AR-11 showing your change of address to USCIS. Good Luck!
  10. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot she can do other than to constantly monitor the schedule to see if any time slots open due to others canceling, etc. Good Luck!
  11. Good thing Old Corrupt Petulant Joe wears Depends. Btw, would anyone be surprised if Biden plagiarized Reagan's speech?
  12. This is not too far from the truth. The ICC is already saying just that, and I suspect a far left DOJ like the one run by Garland would like that idea.
  13. No doubt, let the Chinese EVs in sans tariffs, and let the chips fall where they may. I don't agree however with subsidizing them with tax incentives, but I don't think we should be doing that for domestically produced EVs either.
  14. I am still trying to find out why all these vaunted climate "scientists" ignore the amount of water injected into the upper atmosphere by the Hunga-Tonga volcano a little more than two years ago. The estimate is that this water vapor will stay in the atmosphere for 8-10 years and water vapor is one of the most potent GHGs in the air. As to the above article, what is the remedy? Going back to dirtier emissions?
  15. I doubt any of the ecoterrorists on the left believe this. 6 fake "facts" people still believe about climate change 3. FALSE: Natural disasters are becoming more dangerous. As mentioned above, 98% fewer people die every year from climate-related disasters than a century ago. So what’s with all the doomsday headlines about hurricanes and wildfires? Hurricanes and floods are becoming more expensive — but not more lethal — due to increased coastal development. As society evolves, cities develop more densely, and more people move to coastal regions, it understandably becomes more expensive to repair high-end buildings and infrastructure. But the number of hurricanes that have made landfall in the United States each year since the late 1800s has been quite stagnant. Since the 1930s, the 36 costliest U.S. hurricanes clearly represent a downward trend in intensity. https://jasonisaac.substack.com/p/6-fake-facts-people-still-believe
  16. If you haven't filled out and paid for a DS260 yet, don't waste your time or money.
  17. Shouldn’t be a big issue for you and her as it doesn’t appear the previous I129F proceeded anywhere (presumably her ex canceled it). If anything comes up during your spousal visa process, it seems like it can easily be explained. Many people can have multiple petitions in the system and it doesn’t cause issues. Good Luck!
  18. Hmm, wonder how long the store will stay stocked. San Francisco Rolls Out ‘Free' Grocery Store - Taxpayers Won’t Like the Catch https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/smallbusiness/san-francisco-rolls-out-free-grocery-store-taxpayers-won-t-like-the-catch/ar-BB1nYmL5
  19. Generally shorter visits with enough time in between are better and less of a hassle than long visits nearing the authorized limits. Also, not bringing all or most of your worldly possessions is advisable on a B2/ESTA. Additionally, you are not required to add any information when talking to the CBP officer, you are only required to answer their questions truthfully. Good Luck!
  20. This may be helpful. He should be fine if he follows the CBP guidelines. Good Luck! https://www.help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1444?language=en_US
  21. It is perfectly legal to come to the US, get married and leave for an eventual spousal visa. A couple of key items, you are not required to offer any information to CBP, you are only required to answer their questions truthfully. Also, you should bring evidence showing your need to return, such as a job you need to return to, evidence of lease or ownership of property, etc. Overall, as long as you are not showing up at CBP with most or all of your worldly possessions, you should be fine. Good Luck!
  22. Depends on the locale (USCIS office, or Federal Courthouse). In Detroit there were no restrictions on visitors. Good Luck!
