  1. The main impact to you from an immigration standpoint is your wife as the USC/petitioner can withdraw her I864 from your AOS package. This is why I asked where you are in the process. If your spouse does do that, then your basis for adjusting status goes away, and by extension your EAD card becomes void. If you are abused you may be able to refile using a VAWA waiver of which I am not very familiar with, but there are some fairly extension threads here (see below) with members that are quite knowledgeable. If your spouse does not withdraw the I864, then at the interview time, you will have to convince the interviewing officer that you are in a solid relationship with your spouse. Here are a few links that may be helpful, and keep in mind that even though VAWA is named "violence against women act", it is not just women that can use this option. Good Luck! https://www.ilrc.org/sites/default/files/resources/applying_for_aos_through_vawa_june_2021.pdf
  2. A parent filing is faster as @NorthByNorthwest showed, but it is not a bad idea for both you and your mother to file separate I130s. Good Luck!
  3. Sorry to hear you are going through this. It is unfortunate how some people treat others they professed to love and even went through the process of immigration to get that person here, only to show their true self later. That being said, where are you in the AOS process I.e. when did you file, have there been any RFE’s, have you had an interview, etc.? If this is a toxic relationship, make sure you document everything, and make sure you keep your documents safe. Has your wife been threatening your immigration process? Beyond that, you need to decide where this relationship is headed, and determine the best course for you. Good Luck!
  4. If you are in divorce proceedings you will need to wait to file under the 5year rule. Good Luck, and stay safe!
  5. Ok, somebody please help me out. Where does it say this lesbian couple cannot get married at this venue? All I can think of is that these two were some sort of activists and are upset that the venue is available to them thereby depriving them of notoriety of a lawsuit, or is it that everyone must celebrate this marriage in their hearts and soul. I am sorry if I just don’t get it, but it sounds like these two will get their dream barn wedding. Wedding venue devastatingly shuns lesbian couple citing “religious beliefs” A bombshell response followed, one the women have yet to recover from. “While our deeply held religious belief keeps us from celebrating anything but marriage between a man and woman, we desire to serve everyone equally and do not want to keep anyone from using our building who would like to,” wrote the venue co-owner, Amanda Balzer. “Our hearts are to serve, regardless of race, creed, color, origin, sexual orientation, gender or marital status, while maintaining our convictions and beliefs as well.” https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/weddings/wedding-venue-devastatingly-shuns-lesbian-couple-citing-religious-beliefs/ar-AA1mLOf2
  6. It is a good thing to know that Biden's DOJ is still persecuting innocent people to maintain their destructive policies, and also showing their antisemitism. Jewish Doctor Targeted by DOJ After Blowing Whistle on Kids’ Transgender Clinic TEXAS (VINnews) — Last year, a whistleblower report exposed a secret gender-change program on minors at Texas Children’s Hospital. The hospital had promised to stop the procedures but continued to perform transgender medical interventions on children as young as 11. It turns out the whistleblower was former Texas Children’s Hospital general surgeon Dr. Eithan Haim Following the story’s publication, Texas legislators banned all child gender-change procedures statewide, angering left-wing activists and hospital officials, who opposed any restriction on transgender medicine. Then Dr. Haim was hit with revenge and retribution by the government. Federal agents tracked him down and identified him as the whistleblower, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Tina Ansari threatened him with prosecution. On June 23,there was a loud knock from two federal agents from the Department of Health and Human Services saying he was the target of a criminal investigation. https://vinnews.com/2024/01/10/jewish-doctor-targeted-by-doj-after-blowing-whistle-on-kids-transgender-clinic/
  7. The Leftist certainly don't understand the difference between antisemitism and pro-terrorism, so what is your point?
  8. Seems this is much more of an example of an insurrection than anything seen here in the US post Civil War.
  9. As we have been experiencing the past nearly 3 years. Gotta love the ineptness of the current Administration. Btw, didn't Old Corrupt Petulant Joe order innocent people to be killed. Seems he should be prosecuted, maybe Jack Smith will need some work in a bit.
  10. I am amazed by the 20% bringing their parents to the interview. I wonder what their political affiliation is.
  11. When my wife did it, they took a copy of the certificate, had a supervisor approve the copy and gave the original back to my wife. Good Luck!
  12. I don't believe Leftist journalist that adhere to a certain mindset are allowed to be fired. Don't they just cry a lot and get down on their knees?
  13. And Joe Biden sent the FBI after parents as well as prosecuted his political rivals, so what is your point? Seems the Petulant One current Occupying the WH learned a lot from the autocrats around the world.
  14. Gotta love Democrat Regressive Rule. Carjackings in DC Doubled to a Staggering 959 in 2023 Our nation’s capital is a model of dysfunctional, clueless blue city governance. Nothing highlights that better than the explosion of crime—and especially carjackings—since 2020. The official 2023 year-end tally of carjackings in Washington, D.C., ended up being a staggering 959, twice the number of the previous year. There were 152 carjackings in 2019. That number more than doubled in 2020, and it has been soaring ever since. What’s particularly hard to believe is that 65% of the carjackings last year were committed by perpetrators under the age of 18. And it isn’t just carjackings that are on the rise. In 2023, 274 people were killed in homicides, a 36% increase from the year before, according to WUSA-TV, Washington’s CBS affiliate. That’s the highest homicide rate in two decades. https://www.dailysignal.com/2024/01/08/there-were-staggering-959-carjackings-dc-last-year/
  15. I do not believe you need to include the birth certificate of a child that will not be immigrating with you. I would keep a copy with you in case a CO asks to see it when you have your interview. Good Luck!
  16. I know when we submitted photos, we simply copied them onto PowerPoint slides (two per slide) with a brief caption underneath containing the date and location of the photo. We put them roughly in order chronologically. Then you can save the PowerPoint as a PDF to upload as a smaller file. Good Luck!
  17. You can show up earlier, but that is no guarantee that will get you out faster. Good Luck!
  18. Alternatively, this could simply be a sign that Lloyd Austin has no respect for Joe Biden.
  19. That might be tough given the overall tenor of the thread. It does seem the out-of-control migrant crisis fueled by the current administration would have an impact relative to DHS/USCIS, so the conclusion by the OP seems justified. The fact that those following the process legally and actually paying the bills for USCIS are now being moved to the back of the line can be very frustrating. We always say there is no such thing as premium processing, but on the surface it seems the administration has now allowed for those paying whatever fees are required to the handlers in Mexico to get to the US Southern border are getting first class service from USCIS.
  20. I agree with @nastra30, the main issue will be finding a qualified joint sponsor that is willing to fill out an I864 when the I130 hits NVC. As to he moving to your country and finding work there while awaiting the process, apart from needing to follow applicable immigration laws in that country and the need for your husband to have a provable plan to re-establish domicile back in the US when the time comes for your visa interview, he will also need to find a joint sponsor to help complete your immigration process. Good Luck!
  21. For four years all we heard from the Democrats and MSM was the Trump Administration is a circus. Hmm, it seems either no one in the Harris/Biden Administration knows what is going on, and/or Joe Biden is a complete racists and doesn't really rely on his DIE nominee L. Austin.
  22. I agree, leave it blank as USCIS may think the middle name is "N/A". Good Luck!
