Update on my case. Yesterday my CEAC status was "In Transit". Today the status changed to "Ready" does that mean an interview is going to be scheduled soon?

You probably expedited your case? Since in a "normal" case process you receive the interview letter from NVC before the case goes "in transit". For expedites, the embassy will contact you directly for an interview.

Interesting :) Well if they expedited on their own request (weird) then they'll probably reach out shortly after it says "ready", since at that point the case has reached the embassy. You could email them and ask about instructions to schedule medical and interview. Good luck!

Hi, I did my interview yesterday and I was approved pending my medicals which wasn't ready as at at yesterday.

However, on the ceac website - https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV which i just checked my case is still showing "READY" like I haven't attended the interview.

Is that normal?

Congratulations.

My wife made a request for an expedited action for an early interview date from the NVC. I  really hope that this will get a speedy approval since I got documentrily qualified on the 3 of December.

Yay congrats! That status is normal after the approval, they spend a few days processing things and then eventually the Visa gets issued and it changes to Issued. You're lucky you saw a change, when we were approved it stayed as Ready the whole time until one day it changed to Issued. FYI for us it took about 2 weeks to receive the Visa from the Dublin Embassy.

Hi JenIE- you're saying it took two weeks to receive the passport back? Was this through mail? We talked a while back and my husbands case finally got transferred to Dublin, so wondering how long he will actually need to be there what with a 14 day quaarantine (potentially) and waiting for the passport to be returned. Thanks in advance for any insight!
