Okay,Thanks.I filed the application online and I have sent a message to USCIS but I have not gotten a feed back from them.

Sometimes in February 2023,I had issues with my US wife who threw me out of her house and claimed she has destroyed my documents, including my green card.Recently, after seven months,she contacted me to make peace and went forth to send my documents back to me, but before now I have applied for I-90.My question is what do I do to my I-90 application (permanent resident card replacement)since I have gotten my old green card back?

Thanks for the timely response but you need to know that when I said copies,I mean an electronically saved copy of my visa which I was able to retrieve from my mail .

Please,do you if copies of my IR1 visa stamp and i90 receipt enough to get a job while I await the permanent resident card replacement which I guess will take 8 months to a year. Thanks..

I went back to Bessemer police today to get a copy of the report and police officers accompanied me back to to the place but she still denied me entry to pick my things,claiming that I never lived there,unfortunately, I had no copy of mails to prove that because everything that would have been a proof is inside the house.Right now the case has been assigned to a detective who will be in the position to charge her for felony. please,I really need to know steps to take for new documents like permanent resident card,social security etc.and if I90 receipt will be enough to be used to get a job.That is,in any event, I fail to retrieve my docs from her. Note**She is in the process of leaving the state of Alabama for somewhere else.

I will definitely do that ,I am going back to police today.

Police came to the scene, and there has been a number assigned to the case, the officer said he needed warrant to get her arrested but it was already late and it was on a Friday evening.I am doing my best.I was honestly frustrated when he said they could not do anything for me to retrieve what rightfully belonged to me.

Thanks very much, She used my card to do the purchase because she knows my PIN code.I have called the bank to put a temporary lock on the debit and credit cards.I do not know how the law works here but they said it is a civil case except for the threat to life and destruction of my belongings.

I meant that my personal belongings including my international passport permanent resident card, ,bank cards,different certificates from previous institutions I have attended are all in her possession.From a call to my bank shows that she used $152 to purchase tems from Walmart using my debit card. I have my social security number by heart. Thanks

I am a Nigerian marrying a USA woman but I ever since I arrived here it has been from one verbal abuse to the other..But the worst happened on the 17 of February the day she physically pushed me out of our house,with no clothes neither do I have my vital documents which include my passport, certificates ,permanent resident card,debit credit card, and no phone for contact, I invited the police but they said they could not do anything except if I can obtain a warrant of arrest because of the physical abuse and threat to my life.I have called domestic violent hot line and I am waiting to consult with the local offices of the resource persons on domestic violent on Monday for legal aid. please,I want to be properly advised on what to do since she is threatening me with deportation and she boasted to my younger brother that she has burnt my green card and my Nigerian passport.I want to know what my options are going forward. I have limited funds to pursue the case as I just came back from burning my mum two weeks ago.

Getting to speak to USCIS representative to book an appointment is hard, I made several attempts without success, the best I could get is the voice prompt which kept telling me that my permanent resident card will be processed in 120days after payment and this, ironically, defers from the information on status update which is 90days. Please, what else can I do other than to wait for 120 days to elapse?And what could be the possible cause of this delay in processing my card?
