Visa Issued, not used. K-1 again?

Hello.

My former fiance and I got our K-1 approved and the Visa issued in January. Long story short, we broke up before she used the visa.  Didn't do anything because several users on here said to just let it expire.

How much trouble am I going to have if I decided to go through the process of getting another K-1 for a new and improved fiance? It's not going to be an issue for a while.  But, what am I looking at if I try again?  Will I get it? Will it be way harder?

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can provide.

You click the multiple filer box on the I-129F.  Follow the instructions.

Inform your new and improved fiance of the previous petition as she may be asked about it at the interview.

EDIT:  if it has been less than a year it would be advisable to withdraw the old petition in writing.

It's been about 6 months but I'd be shocked if I started the process again before a year has passed given the current state of the world.  For some reason, I've always been under the impression that if I did want to try for a K-1 again, the fact that I went through the process and backed out would be held against me. And that would make the process harder to get approved.  Am I wrong? Hopefully, I am.

Thanks!

Varies by Consulate, seems quite common in PI.

New and improved? .....like some Japanese hybrid car?   no my man how you sure you not the problem?....not my business though lets  keep this on point

1. You should withdraw the petition as advised above since its still very recent

2. Did she travel with the visa?

3. You sure you dont want to try working on that relationship?

4.If your mind is made up and you want to move on....its no problem just make sure when you filling a new petition to enter details of the old petition you filed and check multiple filer.

5.Maybe you can consider CR1 next time?

anyways goodluck with whichever option you chose to go with.

Have you met fiancé 2.0 yet? Travel has been difficult since March. I think a more thorough inspection would be wise this time around.

Welp. Live and Learn. Last year's model was attractive but when I opened the hood, it was full of crazy. So, I'm looking for something newer, faster and more reliable. I'm sure it's just a matter of time. 🙄

Just in my experience, never buy the first year of the new model. There are always a lot of small problems and things the engineer missed. Wait a year or two before jumping in the new hotness.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!
