Ah okay, that's a relief then.

It has always shown "refused" from what people have posted before.  So you're photo is definitely different.

Yeah it was refused today too and now it's AP :) don't know why

My case has been complete since May 20, 2020. Our consulate is Guangzhou, China. Any suggestions on what I can do to get NVC to schedule an interview? We are in queue for an interview. My wife has a friend(Chinese) who has an interview appointment July 30.

Is the embassy open? You know once embassies open they first have to reschedule all the cancelled appointments.

Hm I guess they finally changed the wording for AP. That's the status I got on CEAC yesterday with Refused and checked recently today and got AP. Or does that mean something else?

Yes they changed to the Refused about September.

OMG really? I'm a USC waiting on an interview date for my Irish spouse. Where did you hear about this update? I've been checking the embassy page and Twitter account daily and hadn't seen signs of movement.

I got an emails from them today asking questions about my documentation and medical in preparation for them opening back up, so I think that means they’ll be open soon. I’m currently not in Dublin however, so I’ll need to self isolate for 14 days before my interview

I really do not know why People keep asking same question "When are the Consulates re-opening" etc.

Truth is,  even these men who are immigration lawyers don't know! They don't have no idea, they're only doing all what they can to keep us all updated!  People need to get that clear,  I know it's sad and really frustrating though.  I have my  own case stuck at the Consulate Level since April 22nd 2020 awaiting interview at Lagos Consulate ...
I can't help but just chill and wait even though it breaks my heart...
I advice we all keep all hopes alive and have more patience,  because as it stands now; it's only gonna take God's special grace for this whole immigration brouhaha to be a thing of the past!

PATIENCE THE KEY WORD...!
We will all prevail and reunite with our loved ones soon by God's grace..   I send my love to everyone out there waiting and also  wish everyone waiting on the Embassies and Consulate to open up again Good luck. And don't forget,  STAY SAFE...!!!
💝
Cheers!

Any UK folks had any movement for London Embassy? DQ in May but still "at NVC".

Several people have had interviews scheduled for this month at the UK embassy. They will clear their backlog first, so your case might still take a bit longer before it gets scheduled. You can view the spreadsheet that is referenced in the first post of this thread to see the timeframes that other UK applicants are currently experiencing.

They did that in Manila and have started scheduling.
