I've never seen a tax law call somebody cheap. :P

 

The tax credit doesn't care about immigration status. All terms used here are tax terms, not immigration ones.

WILL get 2400 if claimed married filing jointly. My wife did not have her GC when we filed taxes and we got 2400 yesterday. 

It goes strictly off of how you filed taxes.

Here is a friendly thought use the stimulus check to apply for his AOS which cost around 1200. You will not have any issues in the future.

You should see it when filling your 2020 taxes, next year, with his SSN.

Only if the USC is military, the will take ITIN for the spouse.
