Looks like the March filers are starting to get new biometric appointment letters! At least two people in the March 2020 AOS filers board said they received appointment letters yesterday for early August.

Just got my Biometrics appointment letter today.  Notice date is 7/18 and I'm scheduled 1st week of August

The website hasn't updated yet, though  but glad to know they haven't totally forgotten about my case 😅

edit: the ASC office I'm assigned to opens on the 27th i think

Congrats! Your location says Seattle? Mine is as well, but the Seattle ASC reopened July 13th. According to your timeline you filed April 14th? Same date for me but no news yet!

This is still super exciting to see things moving!

How do I check if the California locations are open? I doubt they are, but I can hope!

Most of them are open. There was a February filer who went to the ASC in San Francisco this week. The ones that are not open yet will open up on Monday. A few people have gotten appointments around LA as well. You can see which offices that are closed here. If they are open, they will not be listed.

Thank you both! Honestly, it is so exciting to see movement! We were doing the CR1 route and made it to the last step before the interview before things closed down. Montreal has a 4-6 month wait for an interview before COVID-19. I can’t imagine what it will be like when they open.

So being part of a process that is moving at all is a wonderful feeling!

Its great people are receiving their biometrics appointments now.

Just thought I'd share that 2/3 of USCIS workers are scheduled to be furloughed at the end of August [1].

Quote

"Due to recent assurances from Congress that they are working to provide USCIS with emergency funding, we are able to delay the effective date of the administrative furlough from August 3, 2020 to August 30, 2020 to allow Congress more time to act," Joseph Edlow, deputy director for policy, said in a memo to the workforce Friday.

Hopefully everyone is processed in a timely fashion prior to that date.

Our office opens tomorrow on the 27th. Haven't received a biometric appointment in the mail as of yet. I'm glad to see others are starting to get theirs though. Hopefully one shows up soon for my husband.
