How long it'll take them to review that document again and send me a interview appointment letter thanks

There are no rules. Some people get rechecked few days after, some others it takes several weeks.

Fingers crossed.

FYI - For anyone requiring a UK police clearance & is currently outside of the UK, it took me 9 Calendar days to receive an expedited clearance.

Great! Back on track! Happy for you guys.

@MattyUKtoUS lol i guess i didn't really answer your question, and realize now you say his displays him as married and date of marriage- interesting. I think that's def okay.

So It's the W4 he had to update that only had those two options.

If he prints off the whole thing and mails it to me it has our status. I just need to figure out if I need to upload any of this to NVC and I am set as far as paperwork goes.

Right, I understand- but the tax withholding listed on the W4 ultimately end up on the W2. Which is how it's coming into play in my current situation and I think I may have tried to relate that onto what you were asking so im sorry for any confusion .

W4 definitely is not a requirement to be uploaded with NVC

Try calling them to explain the situation and ask nicely if they’ll reopen it.. it’s likely you’ll need to follow the conversation with an email

they open in exactly 3.5hours from now.. 7am their time

Thank you!  I will try today for sure.  Now one hour away.  I am so anxious and nervous.  By the way, on crack it says for any inquiries to go to ask nvc and there’s a direct link, but it’s not working :(

thanks again!!!

oh I forgot to say that I still didn’t submit his supporting documents, and there’s a place to upload the i864a there as well.  I’m thinking if the representative on the phone tells me that it takes six or eight weeks for a reply or for them to reopen the system I might just submit.  They’ll either accept the one in supporting documents or tell me to resubmit that, which actually might take as much time as waiting for them to open.  I don’t know, I’m so lost.  I’ll see what happens when I call.  Wish me luck!

Just wanting to confirm something super basic.. there is no more mailing NVC forms or documents correct? It seems like everything is electronically submitted on the CEAC site for mostly everybody.. is that correct?

I think you are right. Maybe for certain countries (but I doubt it), they still have to send files through snail mail.

Yes yes yes ! Wunderbach! Very happy for you!

Everytime one of you gets DK, we are one step forward to being DQ too. Or at least that is how it feels.

Good luck with the rest of the process. And take care!

Alix

Thanks Alix,

This thread specifically and all the updates about people's DQ made the last few days of waiting less difficult. Best of luck on your process, you'll get it soon too!

Does anybody know if NVC workers are actually working on cases 7am-midnight or is that just the call center? Just wondering if I should bother checking my email after normal business hours (8am-5pm)

Aah, that is something I have been wondering from a while, I got a case creation email from NVC at 1:35 AM.
