  1. I don't think the embassy saying they will reopen on July 6th is an indication change, only that they are closed Friday. Though I really do hope they actually start working on visa cases soon - I have so far only heard a very few who have interviews.
  2. Good luck Mel! Yes, please let us know! I am so happy that you are getting some progress.. It will be our turn soon! ❤️
  3. So all those with IR - CR + DCF visa appointments - Have you heard anything / are your appointments still going ahead? It's sad to see so many K1 appointments getting cancelled.
  4. Ahh no worries - I am getting desperate any sign. Best wishes, Matt
  5. Hi Melc What was your DQ date? Congrats, too!! Matt
  6. Hi Sarah. I would be really grateful if you could ask your friend if their CR1 is normal or expedite or what their DQ date was - I am trying to gauge where I am in all of this. Wishing you the best for your August 7th!
  7. I must be checking the UK - US Embassy page 20 times a day for an update of when they plan to open up to the mission critical visas which CR1 is included in. I desperately need some news on this. It's affecting my mental health. Matt
  8. Yeah. with me I got my medical the week before my embassy meeting. It was all wrapped up inside of 2 week back in 2018. I was a K1 the first time around.
  9. I felt sure I read it could take 3 to 4 weeks from DQ to get the interview and the interview was typically within 3 to 4 weeks. Matt
  10. Here is a question then. I have an LDN number and email as such - My CR1 case was DQ April 21 - Could I then go ahead and make my medical appointment and just hope that the embassy opens within the 6 month time frame? Matt.
  11. Looks good for K1's - just need the embassy to open up pronto.
  12. Would you mins sharing a screenshot with the info about them working on CR1's - Just remember to hid any personal info etc. Many thanks, Matt
  13. Looking at May 2020 - the UK embassy processed the following NIV visa types. ( It does not look at though any K1's were processed in the UK ) See pic. Take a look at the stats to gauge what your country was processing last month: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Non-Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyNIVIssuances/MAY 2020 - NIV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf
  14. I wonder if it has anything to do with them resuming with the IR / CR stuff. Perhaps they are pushing the K1's and others visa types back. Just a thought.
