Read on reddit that people have called in and asked, and unlisted offices are scheduled to open to the public on July 13th. So the ones listed to open on July 20th are part of the second wave of openings. Also, most of the offices seem to be already open to military personnel who doesn't need appointments. For example:

I just notice the news that USCIS starts sending furlough notices to their employees.

If the news is indeed true, only a few are likely to have a chance to get done with their biometrics and can move on next limbo.

Furlough notices arrive for some 13,400 USCIS employees

It is bad but, at least some silver lining:

"According to the furlough notices themselves, copies of which Federal News Network reviewed, employees will be placed in non-duty and non-pay status for anywhere between 30 to 90 days."....."At this time, we do not reasonably anticipate the need for a furlough of 90 days or more”

Also, ACS are privately run...so perhaps the biometrics appointments will continue through all this?

Here's my timeline:

Sent I-485,I-765,I-131 , together with my K2 - Feb21

NOA - Feb 27 (except for I-765 - USCIS told me they never received my I-765)

Biometrics for I485 - Mar17

Resent I-765 - Mar 18

NOA for I765 - Mar24

Re-use fingerprint for I765 - Apr7

I485 Waiting for interview - Apr 21

I-765, I-131 approval - Jun 22

I didn't request USCIS to expedite my I765. I just waited and I got approved. My son's applications haven't been approved yet though so once I got the acceptance letter, I'm going to give them a call and ask for my son's status.

Good luck!!!

That's awesome. What field office or service center were your cases sent to?
