  1. Yes, I did file for AOS in 2020 after we got married since I was already in the US at the time and was on a work visa (H1-B). I could just be misunderstanding the proper usage of CR-1 haha but I thought my current green card status was CR-1.
  2. Looks like my biometrics got waived! I haven't received anything in the mail or any text updates but decided to check my account on my.uscis.gov and saw that my case was updated last Tuesday. Weird that I haven't gotten a mail or text though given how quick the first notification came. 9/13/2022: ROC Package sent 9/15/2022: Delivered to Carol Stream, IL 9/20/2022: Received notification from USCIS 10/4/2022: Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
  3. small progress today, finally received a text! 9/13/2022 : ROC Package sent 9/15/2022 : Delivered to Carol Stream, IL 9/20/2022 : Received notification from USCIS
  4. Great point @beloved_dingo. 2020 was "Married filing separately" for us so I'll include 2020's tax transcript as well! And sounds good on the driver's license. We submitted everything in Feb of 2020 and received our green card in Oct 2020 (so we are cutting it close for this I-751 submission 😅)
  5. Thank you so much @Ranch!! Will definitely be adding joint bank account, utility bills, and credit cards. Thank you @beloved_dingo! We have lived in 1 other place together so will add 1 more. I'll add more bank statements, bills, and evidence of trips/vacations. Tax transcript - we got married in Jan of 2020 so 2021 is the only year we've filed as "married". Do you think that's alright? Should I state that somehow? Driver's license - my husband's driver's license is still his first one that he got when he was 18 so it is not under the same address. Do I still need to include? Thanks @OldUser! We got married in January of 2020 so 2021 was our first full tax year we filed jointly actually. For additional context, I was on an H1-B visa prior to our marriage so I was already living in the US.
  6. Hi everyone, we are about to mail our documents so will definitely be following this thread! As a final check-in, does the below list of items sound enough in your opinion? G-1145 I-751 Envelope with check for $680 Copies of my green card & driver's license 2021 tax receipt Joint lease agreement Joint investment account Joint renter's insurance A page of 9 photos of us with dates I was reading older threads and some people submit a binder full of documents and so I naturally got a little nervous but not sure if that all is necessary. Mainly want to get your opinion on if I have all the required documents. Thank you in advance!
