I hope that now they've got it that they come back to you with an approval nice and quickly :)

What a saga! I am glad to read that you have the support of the USCIS and one of the supervisors there. I hope they are able to tell you what the letter said and what they need to proceed. All the best for a fast and positive decision for you :)

Congratulations! Very happy for you. I haven’t gotten a hold of the supervisor :(. They called and just ended within a second without helping me, and then automatically sent me an email stating that they couldn’t get a “hold” of me when I basically answered but they hung up. I just got so mad and stressed out because I don’t see anything under my account that there was an rfe issued since it still says case has been received February 10 :(

Sixty days is the policy for USCIS IO's to complete the RFE adjudication. I once had the link but when USCIS updates their webpage they do not add a port forward process, so you get stuck at a 404 page. With it being the 21st century you would have thought that they could figure out that there is a better way. Hang in there it will get to you.

Same here. Still waiting

I received an update yesterday with my lawyer when we called and they said they will send it to us by email and also mail. They also extended the date for the deadline of when to respond. I was very happy :) . It’s good to call them because sometimes there website doesn’t update at all since it never updated my account and there was an rfe issued back in July. I hope this helps with yours.

Same here, have been waiting for 274 days...

We've called USCIS several times, but every representative said different answer.

They just keep telling us call back after 3 days when we call back and they say call back after 7 days..... like this loop.

Very depressed but nothing can do...

I’m not sure if this might help but tell them that you want to speak to tier 2 supervisor and explain how you haven’t received anything. When I spoke to them they said they were have issues with the updating their system and that some cases were issued an rfe and put the cases on hold since they didn’t hear back. That’s how I’m going back and forth with them. Mine is 292 days now and they sent us an rfe back in July when I was never informed. It’s better to speak to the supervisor of tier 2 cause tier 1 doesn’t really know anything. I hope this helps and you hear some positive news :)

My experience with any of the governmental agency involved with the visa process are going to give you pat answers. They don't want to get into an argument with you so hence the short and sometimes not fulfilling reply. There is nothing more you can do except the following:

First try submitting an inquiry using this link from the Ombudsman. submit your request online.  If you have already submitted online but did not receive a confirmation email with your case number, the submission did not go through.  Please try again.

If you have not submitted Form DHS-7001, Case Assistance Form, online or made other arrangements with our office to file on paper, we will not respond to any emails.

The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Washington, DC 20528-0180

Email: cisombudsman@hq.dhs.gov

Web: www.dhs.gov/cisombudsman

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

If you receive a response and it contains anyone of these sentences this will be the meaning of that phrase.

If the CSC response is due to a congressional case worker inquiry, the service center will say "security checks"

If the CSC response is from a regular service inquiry from their website, the service center will say "adjudication"

This is a good read:

If what you are doing is not getting results, then you need to get out of your own loop and try something different. Just my thoughts.

Does anyone know how to get a real person on the customer service number at USCIS? I did it once before but I swear the menu has changed and they won’t let you speak to anyone. I keep getting the automated robot and everytime I say customer service or anything they give me useless info and hang up. It’s been 60 days since they received my RFE and I haven’t heard anything. I filed in February and I am getting so frustrated with this process and Everytning.
