Today i finally received my NC Intact! 36 days after receiving passport and passport card. It was shipped first class mail and postmarked March 21, it took about a week to get here. Now what i can't understand is why they held it for 30 days to send it back to me, they must be really backed up on that or they forgot to bring it to the Post Office. For reference i uploaded pictures of the envelope that it came in.

Good news - been watching your updates. Makes me nervous about getting our NC back, we are still in normal timeframe but will be relieved once it is back.

Online Passport Status Tracker appears to not be working at the moment. If anyone else is or is not experiencing this issue, please let me know. I submitted my app through USPS and used standard processing (because I'm not planning on travelling anywhere outside of the country, soon). I submitted my app on March 23rd. Still no status on the website. They say to wait about 2 weeks before it shows. So I won't sweat it until Thursday. Anyone on here have to wait longer than 2 weeks before their status showed?

Never mind. My status just updated. Okay I guess I have a few weeks to wait. 8-11 weeks it says but the usps guy told me usually only takes about 2-4 weeks.

Hi guys,

Bad luck... I was away last week, and when I came back yesterday, I saw the envelope in my mailbox. So I can't finish my tracker accurately.

When I picked it up, my heart stopped for a second when I saw that the envelope was damaged. Fortunately, the certificate is intact, although quite wrinkled.

So that's it, this envelope marks the end of a process that began more than six years ago. Many thanks to this site and the beautiful people who maintain it for the incredible help and hope it gives to thousands of immigrants.

See you around!!

I've requested that fields be added to the N-400 timeline to track the processing of passports. See thread here: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/782144-passport-fieldtracker-combine-with-n-400-or-other-relevant-trackers/

If you feel like it, please post under it whether you agree or not, and perhaps the mods will see. Maybe if enough agree, then they will add it, or possibly create a new tracker.

This is what they wanted from me:

-Form DS-11 (fill out most of the info at home so you don't have to deal with it there. I filled out my form on the computer so it would be easily readable)
-Drivers license (or state-ID, whatever you have)
-Original Naturalization Certificate (make your own copy first, and also keep a scanned copy on your computer)
-Form N-662 (name change document)
-Personal check with the passport fee (I paid the execution fee and photo fee with my credit card)

I didn't bring my own photos, they took photos of me there.

Passport application, naturalization certificate, drivers license, check or debit/credit card to pay the fees, Very important not to sign the passport application before hand! Only in front of USPS employee. They will take your Original naturalization certificate with the application but it will come back to you by mail at some point. 1 passport style photo, some USPS facilities don’t offer this service, make sure yours does if not got to CVS, Walgreens or the equivalent in your area to have your passport style picture taken before you show up at USPS facility. Then the waiting game starts.
