I got my passport a lot faster than the average time for standard processing, so wanted to give an update.

 

9/25/23: Applied at local Post Office

9/29/23: Check cashed and status is "In Process"

11/9/23: Passport issued

11/14/23: Passport received

PASSPORT IN HAND!!!!

I got e mail this morning my Passport was approved and shipped. Processed at Dallas passport Agency. Applied on August 10th. They started to process on August 20th. Exactly 4 weeks.

Just got my certificate back. So the complete timeline for Routine (regular/standard) processing with standard delivery, applied for both book and card ($140 total + $35 USPS execution fee):

11/14: Oath taking ceremony

11/15: Passport appointment at San Francisco Passport Agency

11/16: Passport on hand together with the Citizenship Certificate

01/16/2014 : Mother Filed Petition under F2b

01/16/2014: Case Accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing

06/20/2014: Case got approved, Case forwarded to National Visa Center

08/03/2014: NVC assigned case no. MNL

EB3-Philippines ( Employment Based Immigrant Visa)

01/27/2017: I-140 Filed thru Nebraska Service Center

07/24/2017: I-140 Approved

07/25/2017: Case sent to NVC

08/15/2017: NVC assigned case no.

05/07/2018: Visa Fee Bill 

05/28/2018: Documents Scanned Date

06/07/2018: Documentarily Qualified/ Case Complete

07/19/2018: Packet 4 (Interview Letter Received)

08/15/2018: Embassy Interview

08/28/2018: Visa Issued

10/05/2018: POE Chicago

I had my oath on November 15th.

Passport application submitted on November 17th.

Received my passport yesterday December 7th. 

 

I didn't pay for expedited processing, and I was told the wait would be 7-10 weeks. It ended up being much faster than that.
