Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone else knew this, but when they review the documents submitted they are going by the dates the documents  were last submitted. In my case, I submitted all the necessary documents last month but added additional documents later and she said that it changed my review date... so basically I have to wait even longer ☹️

Yes.  I submitted my AOS packet on the 8, and IV on the 10, so it goes with the 11/10 not the 11/8.

Thanks, I just wished I would have know that... because the final document I added was not required. All required documents were submitted 11/26/19 and then I uploaded my w2's 12/2/19. I just don't understand their process. I know a VJ member who's documents were reviewed a week after submitting and she was approved.

I don’t know how NVC works but I don’t believe this, my hubby added additional documents  on Saturday and today we got DQed today.

Congratulations!!!! I really appreciate you sharing this with me. I started to feel disappointed. How many days from your original submission did you get DQ?

Yeah its widely known that resubmitting kinda resets the clock for your application to be reviewed, I used to lurk the October filers thread, then the November thread and it's been mentioned before. Hope youre approved quickly!

Hi, where does it say for  anywhere longer than 6 months you stayed you need to provide police clearance from that country? I am still stuck with this 😢

Not sure where it did, but I had to do it. We used Boundless to compile the paperwork and have an attorney check it.

Seeing as I’m still living in the 3rd country, it was kinda painless. I was led to believe that if I were no longer here the process would have been a more drawn ordeal.

Good luck 🍀

I know one of my friend case. His wife was  in Denmark for around year and they want the police report from Denmark  however she does not live there anymore.  He got the PP certificate from Denmark to submit to NVC

Thanks for the feedback... and because the NVC has an irregular pattern, and that every case is different, I'm not sure if we will ever know the truth. But I do know I am happy that all my documents are submitted and that I have gotten this far 😊
