I had my interview today and I am officially a US Citizen! Sharing my experience below..   The process was surprisingly very fast. My interview time was 12.30 PM and there was no one in the

Good morning! Just an update again, the file is available under documents tab and it shows that I have my oath taking on Feb 27!!! I am so excited

Submitted my application online yesterday. 

 

Estimated Completion Time: 12 Months

There isn't any particular requirement about number of pages. I did so because it's easier to see and review.

Places like NYC and DFW seem to have longer completion times. I'm in the same boat.

I guess they base the estimated completion times on the volume of cases in the local offices.

I submitted mine a few days ago and it shows a 9 month estimated wait time.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC : 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

It will show on your online account once you receive the receipt/NOA - probably next day or 2.

Dear all,

 

I am joining you all rather unexpected as my husbands deployment/orders allows me to file for Naturalization early.

 

We just filled out the paperwork as much as we could but we are struggling with the question 9 that is asking to state all the days outside the US in the past 5 years. I have had my marriage based GC for 18 months only and hence have spent the majority of my last 5 years outside the US. Or do they refer to the period of a LPR? Meaning I state all trips since receiving my GC?

 

Do you guys recommend using a check or pay by credit card?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

I was an October 2017 filer for ROC (via K1 visa), got an RFE on December 2018 and got my 10 year GC on May of this year. I have submitted my N-400 application online on November 20th and got an update last night regarding my upcoming schedule for biometrics. 

 

Good luck to my fellow November 2019 filers! God bless us all.
