Hello,

I am uploading documents for the N-400 application. My case is based on 3 yrs of marriage based GC.

Question: Do i need to scan the Green Card on a single file or can I upload 2 pdfs with front and back scanned separately?

I scanned both side alone then merged them on one file.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Just a heads up that I received an update with the estimated completion date = August 2020.

I have updated the spreadsheet as well. Good luck to everyone!

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

I scanned on a single file. In fact took 2 pictures, cropped, put it in a Google doc page, saved as a PDF.

There isn't any particular requirement about number of pages. I did so because it's easier to see and review.

Hi Everyone, Wondering if you can help us (forgive me if this should be posted elsewhere...hard to find). My husband is applying for Citizenship through marriage, and Part 9 on Form N-400 is giving us lots of problems. It is asking for the number of days/trips outside the US in the last 5 years, but he only moved to the US 3 years ago when we got married. Are we supposed to include all the days he lived outside the US before marriage in the "total days outside the US" count, minus the number of days he came to visit me in the US...or? How did you all answer these questions?

Has anyone paid by credit card? I used the form but they haven't taken the money yet nor is it pending. They've received my package last week Thursday :-

USCIS is only concerned on the travels you made while you became a permanent resident of the US. You do not need to include the travel information beyond the 3 years that he was not a US resident. here is a link about general info on continuous residence and physical presence for naturalization by USCIS: https://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-naturalization/continuous-residence-and-physical-presence-requirements-naturalization
