**Noa2 for the I129F, not Noa1.

Actually it could be either if you read the NOTE: on the i485 carefully

YMMV

Ahh okay. This feels like so much more paperwork than the k-1 packet!

Well, the K-1 forms were kind of spread out.

First you put together the I-129F. (with evidence of in-person meeting, plus any front-loading)

Then you put together the I-134.

Then your fiance(e) fills out the DS-160.

For AOS, you put together all the forms at once, and if you're applying for EAD & AP (and you should be), then you've got the I-485, I-765, I-131, and I-864. Though probably not much in the way of evidence (since it's not required, and if you married soon after POE and filed as soon as you could afterward there's not much there anyway).

-Also, I own my house and tried to get my husband on the mortgage but since he has no credit, this was not possible. I was able to put him on the gas and city bill though

Just a thought for you when you get to the interview stage. I put my husband on the deed to the house rather than the mortgage. Its easy enough to do and good proof for when the time comes.

@Pooleyi own my place as well, didnt put him on anything, so all is good. we got approved. it it one form of proof, but you have plenty of bills to show proof, so no big deals. make sure both your names are on the car insurance, bank statement, they literally only took 2 from me.

@SuznAaron how do you add them to the deed? who do you contact exactly? I also want to update my last name on my deed and mortgage, i feel like that's not worth it right?

I went to a lawyer with a copy of my deed. I also wanted to change my name to my married name as well as add Aaron to the deed. The lawyer simply wrote out a new deed (I had to sign it) and then the lawyer filed it in the county clerks office. It was simple. Only cost $100.

The beneficiary is now the applicant.   The petitionner is now simply an interested bystander

That is what I meant, but you said it much better than I did.

This.  OP, you can't just "add" someone to a mortgage without refinancing.

Depends on state or county laws, but in many cases you would submit a document to the county called a "quit claim deed," and essentially gift a portion of the property value to your spouse.

Only important thing is to write the A-number with felt tipped pen on back of all photos. You will be sending 6. I think it is in case they get seperated from the package. And if possible put them in a small bag attached to each petition. 2 photos each. When you are ready, it will look like this roughly.333381562_AOS.jpg.3a1795afd4300f5b8880c01cf8cc5486.jpg

Now that I think of it, K-1 NOA2 would make more sense since it was the actual "approved" notification.

If you have a choice but the application actually says receipt OR approval notice

YMMV

G325A is obsolete

Ds3025 is not required but most people include for some reason

YMMV

True, but I'm just saying it provides more "proof" of approval, you know?

The proof of approval is the visa issuance,  they are simply looking for the underlying case number to reference
