the NVC is no longer requiring the agent designation. I did call and asked them - they say now anybody with the case number and the invoice number can access the electronic systems and that is why they no longer asking for agent.

Awesome thanks!!

Congrats! How long did it take to get DQ after submitting your documents?

I submitted the payments Sept 21 than status changed from in processed to paid on Oct 1. I uploaded all documents the same day October 1. Yesterday received an email with an update saying all my docs were accepted and today received the email with DQ

For those of you who got DQ quickly, did you submit translations? I know they're not mandatory just wondering if it helps. Thank you!

I did submitted certified translations along with the original docs.

From the date our status changed to sent to DOS, it took 8 days for NVC to receive our case. And then it is about 4-5 weeks to get a case number. Hopefully it'll be pretty quick for you!

aah okay, thanks

What is the best way to scan the passport photos? Front and back (the back is blank on mine w/ only a watermark but I think I read somewhere to scan the back too?) and side by side or one on top of the other? Also do we only scan one, or both copies?

Also which photo is the one that ends up on the card? The ones brought to the interview right? Because I always look terrible in passport photos but I'll try my best for the one that I have to carry with me every day 😂

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.
