USCIS Phase - I was an annoying punk to USCIS in every medium possible. Emailing random employees, social media twitter facebook employees would comment on their own photos being posted on those mediums and i would shame them.. yea..it helped grease the wheels.

NVC Phase - Just paid and ready to upload - It should allow pre-uploads, but whatever the gov't is slow to adopt efficiencies.

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 22, 2019
Embassy Review : She arrived at 6AM with 7 people ahead of her in line.
The times were called for 645AM to go inside around this happened at 630AM
Passport was put inside ziplocs and asked to present the DS-260.
Ushered inside to the security check point.

She proceeded to the interview area.
IV greeter asked to prepare all original documents with the passport.
Another 5-10 mins of wait. She was called to the prescreener with the filipino to check all documents
IV greeter returned gathered the passport and 2x2 photos and ds-260
She gave it to a person at window 38..
She was called back to the prescreener to review the paperwork once again.
Immediately after that she was electronic finger printed by the american lady.
She was asked to sit down once again because my wife's case was still inside the lock box.
She came back about 5 mins and redid the finger prints once she had the case file on hand.

My wife waited 10 mins to be called for the interview. She was the 3rd person called and She was the first person with that particular interviewing officer.

The follow questions were asked:

Where did we meet?
Follow up on previous question: What were you doing there?
When was the wedding date?
When did we meet?
When did you start to date?
How long were you in the United States?
When was the last time you saw each other?
What does the spouse do for a living?
Has the spouse been married before?
Why did they get divorced?
Do we have kids together?
Do I have kids?
What is his favorite movie?
What are his hobbies?
Who lives with your husband?
What are your plans when you immigrate?

She was told she was approved.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: JFK
Event Description
Entry Date : 2019-11-12
Embassy Review : My wife came in hours late after a delay in China. That she had to get on a different flight, but it was out of our hands. The first flight out of Philippines was extremely delayed. It worked out to her advantage and got an entire middle row to herself.

At the POE JFK she had no issues went through pretty quickly.

I do warn that it seems like those that do go through JFK will wait their full 120+ days for their Green Card. I am not sure why, but it's a reoccuring observation on the forums.
Harassment Level : Low

Just left the post office. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm trying out the G-1450 form for payment. Let's see how that works.

2/19/2019 - My wife was going to be in Cebu so I had her register with CFO to get that out of the way. Pro-Tip for anyone from the Philippines. Get your name changed. Get that passport updated. Get all the documents ready ahead of the game. It's a long journey through the I-130 process. Make it simple for yourselves. I forgot to update the timeline comments. I did get Nebraska. I was hoping it was a place that had the USCIS process faster. I am traveling to the Philippines in July for 58 days. My 3rd trip maybe i'll get lucky and we get the NVC stage before I leave (doubt it)

Seems odd they approved so quickly. It must be one of the reasons you listed 🤔 Do you have the IOE prefix for Nebraska? Such and unfair process. I’m at almost 11 months 😔

I do not gamajm it's just a regular Lin receipt.

Case tracker updated and stated that my case was sent to NVC on 9/3/2019. Nebraska mismanagement goes from top to bottom. Glad it's over for this part of the journey. Hopefully I don't get assigned to Nebraska anymore for any forms that need to eventually be filed with them in the future.

Hello! Congrats on your NVC completion. We submitted all our docs the same date you did. We are waiting for them to review ours. When is your interview date? Thanks in advance

Hello again. Did you always call NVC to check your case? I am still waiting for them to review mine. Submitted and paid all fees Sept 20 still nothing. I'm planning to call and complain to them every day until they review it.

Hi Ron. I am still waiting for them to move my case to the embassy. They haven't reviewed your case at all? I have only called once this week. last week I called twice. I know the Philippines isn't a crazy embassy they got their process really good and handle a lot of applicants. So I am not sure why NVC hasn't pushed the case over. I am hoping for good news this week.

Expedite. I had my wife already pack a bag for like 5 days of travel. I told her that one morning she's going to wake up and she's going to have to get on a van to the airport (It's 3 hours away) and that she's going to start her medical the next day. That's what happened. It was 30 dollars more expensive for the flight than if I had scheduled it ahead, but meh it was alright. Now she's waiting for her VISA the airbnb phase for me is over. She's going to spend some time with her family in Manila, and then with a J-1 friend that lives there waiting for that text from 2go courier to pick up her visa in Mall of Asia. that's when we pick a date for her to come here, because obviously I don't want to settle on a date and there's some delay, and she wants to spend some more time with her family before heading this way even though she would fly from Manila to me but of course we wouldn't do that to the family =D LOL even thought we are tempted the flights are a bit cheaper than Cebu.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
