Comments : Mom texted me letting me they got an approval letter for my i-130. She slipped my letter into my package bin she was in a hurry and couldn't enter my home to drop it off (to prevent porch pirates got a package pin that deposits my Amazon packages securely). Well she forgot to look at the date it was approved and it hasn't updated on the websites yet. I'm on vacation till sept 4th with my wife.

Let's get to the good questions.

Did I file k-3. I was starting to get things done but I didn't have time to file it before I went on vacation. I was skeptical so I didn't do a rush. I'm still skeptical.

What I did do in the past but I got denied. Tried to expedite for financial reasons.

Got Congress folks involved. Only my house rep and one senator office tried something but they gave up and went hard on the processing time website information in the end.

Other things I did. I bothered a lot of USCIS employees via email, LinkedIn, etc posted a lot on social media always blasting them

Did that have an impact probably not.

Who knows. On to the next step. I'll fix the date of approval either when I can see it online or I get back home.

Could also be since they are transitioning to an efiling system they could be trying to clear a lot of these non IOE petitions.

The cluster that Nebraska is I'm hoping by the time I get back it's already in NVC

Just left the post office. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm trying out the G-1450 form for payment. Let's see how that works.

Credit Card was charged on 1/31/2019. Still waiting on the receipt. I am crossing my fingers for Potomac Service Center.

2/19/2019 - My wife was going to be in Cebu so I had her register with CFO to get that out of the way. Pro-Tip for anyone from the Philippines. Get your name changed. Get that passport updated. Get all the documents ready ahead of the game. It's a long journey through the I-130 process. Make it simple for yourselves. I forgot to update the timeline comments. I did get Nebraska. I was hoping it was a place that had the USCIS process faster. I am traveling to the Philippines in July for 58 days. My 3rd trip maybe i'll get lucky and we get the NVC stage before I leave (doubt it)

Seems odd they approved so quickly. It must be one of the reasons you listed 🤔 Do you have the IOE prefix for Nebraska? Such and unfair process. I’m at almost 11 months 😔

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
