All print media will be gone eventually but since limited appeal magazines like for Progressive will be the 1st.

I don't really do magazines, so I for one won't miss them. The real shame will be newspapers. I know everyone gets their information from google or whatever, but I love the tactile feel of opening the WSJ and settling in over breakfast. The smell of the ink, the paper, it's glorious. And something a tablet will never replicate.

Eventually physical books will also be offloaded to those e-reader monstrosities. But I hope not before I'm long gone.

As laylalex points out... it's quality, not quantity. Cut-offs and t-shirt isn't quite my style, but I'm a man, I get the appeal. 😉

If I took my phone to the toilet, I'd have to throw it out afterwards.

Fashion, makeup, etc. ...

We men have 6 things in our bathrooms:  toothpaste, and a toothbrush; shaving-cream, and a razor; a bar of Dial soap; and a towel from a Holiday Inn.  Women, conversely, have a minimum of 439 things in their bathrooms... very few of which a man could identify.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Doesn't Yankee Candle have a newspaper ink candle?  If not, maybe there is a need.

Shoot, when my wife and I are alone in our condo, she has one and a half bathrooms on the second floor alone, let alone in the basement and first floor.  There are soooo many things there that I have no idea what they are for, and every time I go to the ROK, I usually have a list of more stuff to get.  She loves South Korean facial products.

Right now she is relegated to only 3/4 of the master bath as we still have our DV cousins living with us.

LOL. I was thinking of that episode. They could probably redo that one with cell phones, except the number of allegations of companies "spying" on users cell phone habits may make it a little too real to be as funny as the book return. They probably actually do know when you're in the bathroom.

All this talk about makeup and clogging up bathrooms with tons of junk. Nonsense. All my stuff is in the bedroom on my dresser in  my makeup box. Makeup only goes on my face when I need to go somewhere fancy. Otherwise there are some ladies that don't care to be bothered with the nonsense of spending ages to put it on, have your eyes and face itch like the devil, and spend more ages to take it off. I also cannot stand bathroom hoggers, so I wouldn't tolerate a messy hogged bathroom from anyone. The only thing of mine in the bathroom, is shampoo, soap, and a towel. Creating a ''fresh or nude face look' with more makeup is just another gimmick. You either go without and have your guy love your face for you, or you put it on with varying degrees of slather.  :)

This is one of the reasons why I cannot stand lady-mags. Telling us how to look and feel to be loved.
