Adjusting was always more common, I assume it still is bit do not know the current numbers.

I wasn't referring to simply adjusting, but rather the question of intent coming up at AOS interviews when one has adjusted from a NIV.  The "intent is determined at the border" is a popular catch-phrase here on VJ, but seems it isn't necessarily a shoe-in.

Difficult to tell, the few examples seem to from shall we say unusual cases without much credibility so I am giving that a pass for the time being.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Unless you LIED at POE. You are allowed to adjust your status as the spouse of  US citizen regardless of your intent. Legal precedent and USCIS policy make this clear. I just do not understand why a lot of people on this forum seem to have an aversion to AOS by people who came here using NIV. There are several routes to a destination and AOS is one of those several routes.

Everyone has to do what works best for them and their circumstances.

Believe it or not, there ARE people who lie at POE, and arrive with plans to marry and adjust.  My comment was about the recent posts I've seen on VJ from people who have had intent questioned at the AOS interview.
