We started our journey with NSC but got transferred to Houston local office. Does anyone here know where I can find their processing times? Is there a forum for Houston local office? My lawyer said we are still under NSC processing times but that makes us 1 year and a half without approval. Really considering to file I-129F like most of you but are the passport photos necessary? Any info helps. Thanks.

It's not hard to get passport photos printed. Just have the beneficiary download a passport photo app. Take the photos it will be on a 4x6 arranged with 6 2x2 pieces. You get it printed at Walgreens or CVS or your favorite photo place. Then cut it yourself. It's cheap and easy.

I think it's longer for those at Nebraska.

A year minimum to be approved for the 1-130. Then two months to get a case number, probably at least two more months to get CC and then, yes, it depends on how busy your embassy is but let's say it's 4-5 months on average to get an interview. I think you blow past 18 months easily and that's even without any RFEs or other issues. I'd be preparing between 18-24 months now to enter the US if you get saddled with Nebraska.

We are July 10th 2018 Nebraska filers. No RFE's (so far...) and Embassy in Singapore, which is a very fast Embassy. Nebraska times are getting longer and longer times. It's absolutely ridiculous! Projected time when we started this was 5-7 months... Contact your local political figures and blast USCIS Nebraska office every chance you get...

Hey everyone.  Been on and off this site while dealing with the horrific wait times that are constantly pushed back further and further and found some dude had posted a link to the old USCIS website which shows when your file has been touched.  Hooked myself up an account and saw no movement since mid Feb 2019.

NOA1 for our I-130 was 20/9/18.  Reached the 1 year mark 3 days ago and not seeing any "touch" on my file was starting to get agitated at the wait.

Walking into work this morning my phone went off.  One email notification and the app notification. Case was approved 23/9/19

We didnt go for the I-129f when it started getting a bit of buzz a few months back as it was showing 10 (ish) months for cases back then.
Hang in there guys.  Complete waste of a year, a strain for anyone going through this.  But as with my case it does happen.  And unexpectedly.

Best of luck to you all.  Just hope that from Australia the wait with NVC and Embassy isnt too much longer

Our PD is 5 Oct 2018, just a couple of weeks behind you, hopefully they pull their finger out and look at ours too... no k3 for me either

Just received NOA2!

76 days from submittal in Nebraska with a PD of 7/8/2019.

Requested an expedite on 9/16 for legitimate medical reasons.

We were nervous about him coming over on his ESTA if there was another medical emergency; didn't want to jeopardize the I-130 that was currently in process.

It took around 5-7 days to get the NOA1 in the mail. Still waiting on the NOA2 letters for the I129f/I130 in the mail

Haven't been getting mail since imelda. Hopefully the NOA1 makes it my way soon. Would USCIS be able to tell me if the case number for the i129f if I called them? Or you don't have any experience with that. I remember they told you when your files were touched. Was that USCIS Tier 1 or Tier 2?
