Received Interview letter in the mail yesterday. Scheduled for October 31. Don't know if that is good luck or bad)))))

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

Green Card in hand! 🎉 I wasn't approved on spot, but basically same day status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced", however I found it out only next day. I hope you all will have interviews

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting

As I recall they lived close to Buffalo and had to go to Albany. I was bored yesterday and was digging through the AOS section. I don't remember the exact thread.

Guys, just a few hours ago my status changed! I can't believe how fast it took. I expected to wait at least 5 more months. I'm in Atlanta area.

Hi everyone yeah looks like this is a good week 🙏🏻.. Im from Atlanta field and  received yesterday an email updating “interview was schedule” (the app updated aswell) now let’s wait the letter with day of appoiment for the interview .. for those who wanna have an idea, that’s my timeline so far.

Yay!! I feel happy for everyone!!  my office Phoenix have had people waiting for 2 years for the interview, but I am glad other offices are working on their backlog for real!!  I wish I could move my mailing address to a not too busy office, is that possible?  like using a friend's address as mailing ?

That might raise issues with background checks. Especially since you need to provide complete address history for naturalization again. I would definitely advise against it since you already have the EAD/AP combo card.

Damn we live in Buffalo... our office is traditionally not busy but such news doesn’t sound good :( idk I mean I would love to get an interview scheduled soon and get a green card, but spending extra money with me not working doesn’t sound good. 
P. S. Got no updates since 6 days ago. Case is ready to be scheduled...

Well I have heard that even concurrently takes longer because the family member has been living in the U.S., but who knows, I came to the U.S. with a fiance visa and I believe all depends on the field office workload, so be patient, it can change unexpectedly :)
