RFIE was received by USCIS last week...status has not changed to ready for interview yet. We are both so exhausted by him not being able to work and the limitations it puts on our lives. It just seems so unfair. At least we have two new kittens to distract us. To everyone still waiting, keep hanging in there.

AOS/EAD/AP Filed: April 5, 2019
NOA 1: April 12, 2019

RFIE Reply Sent: July 16, 2019
AOS Interview Date: October 3, 2019, APPROVED

Green card Received: October 10, 2019

Did you get a letter saying that it was received by USCIS? My lawyer sent in my RFIE last Friday.

If they sent a letter then we haven’t gotten it yet, the status changed on the online tracker.

I think most people did it all at the same time, I filed mine 3/29 and still haven't received the EAP/AP or had my interview scheduled.  I think it takes 6-8 months right now.

Hello. I filed the I-130 concurrently with the other documents. I don't think it affects the processing times to file them both. It all depends on your field office and even then it seems to just be randomness and pure luck half the time.

Married since 3/10/2017

Concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131

04/12/2019: Mailed package via USPS

04/15/2019: Priority Date/Package received

04/22/2019: Text Message and Checks cashed

04/26/2019: NOA1 hard copy

05/03/2019: Biometrics Letter

05/06/2019: Recieved RFE (forgot co-sponsors proof of citizenship on I-864)

05/07/2019: Sent Response to RFE

05/13/2019: Response to RFE received by USCIS

05/14/2019: Biometrics completed

05/23/2019: I-693 courtesy letter

06/06/2019: Requested EAD Expedite

06/11/2019: Faxed Proof of Financial Loss to USCIS

07/29/2019: Case status updated to "Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview”

02/12/2029: Case status updated to show interview was scheduled

03/19/2020: Interview date

It was five days for me. I think it depends on individual complexity of paperwork/background check etc.

They should receive our RFIE documents today. They wanted birth certificate, evidence of my salary/employment, and a copy of my co-sponsors passport. More than I was expecting; however, not too hard to obtain. I didn't send too much on my employment at the time because at the time we sent it I had the job less than a month and we had a strong cosponsor. Anyways, I have a question about the birth certificate.

Our stamp is quite hard to see on the original document making it a bit hard to see on the copy. I figured maybe that's why we were RFIE'd on it? It is the same documents we used for the original interview and I-295F. I sent a black and white copy as well as a color copy along with another copy of the translation. I feel like that was the best that could have been done apart from sending the original. Any input? I think I'm most nervous about that.

Agreed. We knew going into it, but it is another game actually having to deal with it. Financially, things are tight, but we are definitely okay. Just hard for him to be the one that stays home.
