From what I have heard you CAN still get an RFE after your case is ready for interview. Apparently you can even get them after completing your interview. But it's also very possible that it means your interview was scheduled and the letter they couldn't deliver was the interview date... If I were you I would definitely call USCIS and see if they can tell you what the letter said.

May I get a sample of the EAD expedite letter please ? also how do you send it ? is it a fax number ? mail or e.mail please ?

My wife got a job offer , and her EAD needed , What also I should send with the letter please ?

Thank you in advance .

Hi guys. anyone here just recently use money order for paying aos? I'm confused because I read online that I can pay money order but I read also on uscis that some office don't accept money order anymore.

I just did. Money order or cashier's check was from Bank of America. We applied last May.

Payable to: U.S. Department of Homeland Security

The banker/teller will ask for USCIS' address and phone number for confirmation, I remember just providing the address and no phone number.  The address that I gave was the Chicago office, since I was sending my I-130 and AOS packets there.  You can also add a memo. For me I did put "For I-130 Application" and "For AOS and biometrics fee" respectively.

Asking the same thing three different times doesn't really help.

A three second google search would give you instructions

Hi,
I'm a May filer and also got a RFIE for the birth certificate. I was reading the cases for April filers and a lot of people got a RFIE for birth certificate as well. In my case, the copy I submitted initially follows the instructions. I am not sure how to proceed. Did you resubmit the same copy? Have you already received an answer from USCIS regarding this?

Thank you in advance!

I just got an RFIE as well last week for Birth Certificate and the 864 documents. My lawyer said that he’ll send the information they requested for me.

I realized that I might have forgotten to send the translation of the back of my birth certificate .. there were only some numbers and codes on the back but maybe that was enough for them to reject it and ask to resubmit. Otherwise, I do not know what else could it be the reason.. the document is a full-page long containing all the required info (Full name at birth, Date of birth, Place of birth, Full name of parents, Name of issuing government body, Date of issuance, Seal or other certification)

Finally was able to get my husband's long form birth certificate from Alberta, after one application was lost in the mail and had to resend. Just mailed the response to RFIE to the benefits center and now....we wait some more! Congrats to all the new approvals, jealous would be an understatement.

Just got an email that we are receiving a RFIE. Hopefully we will receive it in the mail before the end of the week. Wondering if it is a birth certificate since that’s what is popping up so frequently here. Fingers crossed that it is an easily accessible document that we already have.

Anyways, glad to know they are touching our case. I know my husband is so ready to start working.

Fellow April filer here and just read through the last weeks of this thread. So crazy how so many of us have been getting the RFE for the birth certificates- the same happened in my case! I knew for sure that I had sent it with the original packet (and keep exact copies at home so I knew it was definitely there), but just overnighted it to them.

Congratulations to everybody already passing their interviews and getting their cards, insane how quick that goes in some places! I just got my EAD approved after expedition so am celebrating that for now and hopefully the GC interview won't be too long but my case has been ready to interview for a while now. @moosfc our is Seattle too. I'm hoping they will send it to Yakima or Spokane if it speeds things up.

Have you received your AP or EAD?

We are "Ready to schedule "as of June 19.
