Its absolutely ridiculous how one earth Albany, NY field office is not scheduling my N400 interview? I thought Upstate NY USCIS offices would not have that much backlog but boys these ******* making it so difficult for immigrants. People who filed after me getting their cases approved right and left and here I'm stuck with both I751 and N400 since Jan,2019 and Jan,2020 respectively.

We all in the same boat since jan2019 and still waiting checking my case status twice a day

Nothing we can do it waiting game I had the pass stump valid for a year

Did online request .

No changes good luck

how do I open service request online??

choose the outside normal processing.  They usually estimate 1-2 weeks for an update, but at least it means someone will look into it.

You’re likely to get a canned response, but it’s worth a shot.

Recommend that you give them a call to verify if it's for N400 only, or if it's a combo interview. Let's hope for combo!

Since your i751 was transferred to NBC ( where is your N400), 99% that you will have a combo Interview.

I believe approval of i751 first before N400 approval so combo interview for sure.

Had a combo interview on this week. My i751/ N400 was approved and i had Oath same day. Officer was very professional. He told me that he has never seen people from my country before here in USCIS. Well, in Iceland it is only 350000 people, so that is very likely. Lol :) ok, i am finally DONE. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

N400 - almost 10 months.

Good evening fellows,

Ive filled I-751 with waiver in January 2019 and submitted a case inquiry on 09/24/2020. They responded that my application is in pre-scheduling process and I will receive a notification when interview is available. My GC extension is ending on 12\20\2020. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process and how can I get an infopass to extend my GC ?

Texas Service Center

Thank you all in advance.

My wife's case MSC1990xxxx (I-751 Removal of Conditions) has been pending since April 2019 (Waiting to schedule interview, no RFEs). Her 18 month extension letter expired Oct. 12, 2020 so she received an I-551 stamp in her passport that is valid until April 12, 2021. Is this enough to permit her to travel back to visit Argentina and be allowed entry to return to U.S. before April 12, 2021? Does she need any other forms to ensure she can come home to the U.S.?  We're very worried. We also received a reply to info request submitted AUGUST 11 and Received email OCTOBER 30 that said this: "Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time."   Does this mean she'll have a combined interview?   I also reached out to State Senator and IL Senator ####### Durbin who have yet to get back to us with any info.  So frustrated by this wait with zero info.

Wife Got approval I 751 today.

Filed in Jan 2019

Rfes on April 2020

Mailed package on May 2020

Appointment Letter in end of Oct 2020

Interview our both in Nov 17, 2020

we did not do N400 because we think it will slow the whole process.

We will do N 400 since 751 is done now.

Wish everyone best luck. Our case start MSC and interview in LA

Hi all,

I don't normally chime in, just get a weekly email to see how others are rolling along and felt I should say this.

My I-551 stamp is running out mid Dec so need to get an infopass apt. Called the USCIS line at 6.30pm EST, got through within a minute. Others had been saying it takes hours. Maybe this info will help.

GL all.

Update:

We received an RFE and so I finally put together the response packet. I mailed it yesterday via USPS Express and got delivery confirmation this morning.

To my UPMOST surprise, moments ago, I got an email notification that the case was updated. Went online to USCIS case status and sure enough the case was updated to reflect, "Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received".

Given all the backlog, I wasn't expecting a same-day as packet received case status update but I sure am glad! [Crossing our fingers now for an approval!]
