I just want to get someone's opinion on whether this would be wrong or not. On Spain's US embassy site it pretty much has packet 3 and says in the "how to apply" sections to send packet 3 with the listed items. Would I be wrong to just print it out myself and send all the required documents as opposed to waiting for them to send me packet 3? I feel like this site gives so much information(not complaining I love this site haha) and I feel like with all the information sometimes we might over think things. On the embassies website it doesn't mention anything about waiting for a packet 3 which is usually what people due anyway by the instructions of this website. Instead it lists packet 3 and I was going to gather the rest of the documents and send it next Monday(21st) and see if they mail me packet 4. Would I be wrong for following the very vague website and jumping ahead of schedule?

hi i think you need to join a sub forum exclusive for spain and follow what they do. every embassy has its own way of processing our file.

https://es.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/how-to-apply/ lists nothing about waiting for Packet 3? Basically once it is "ready" you should proceed with steps outlined there, starting with DS-160 and paying the fee. They do provide a phone number to call, so you should be able to call and check with them. I do not think you have to wait for them to mail anything to you.

Exactly! Nothing mentions waiting for it. The above information is actually packet 3. My case is ready on CEAC so why waste time? Lol I doubt they will throw my package away because I didn't receive it in the mail.

P3 Letter for China:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gcrLW0OCkGfdz43tehWNmgDayJUrRTdj/view?usp=sharing

U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview. K visa applicants will be notified by the U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou when it is time to schedule an interview.

An individual with an approved petition and a priority date that is current for processing (when applicable) is eligible to apply for an immigrant visa or K nonimmigrant visa. Immigrant visa applicants will be notified by either the National Visa Center (NVC)

And don't forget the help from other members here:
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/

And the Portal here on VJ for processing in China and what to expect
http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=China&cty=Guangzhou

 or the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-iv-visaapplyinfo.asp

Don't waste time while you're waiting for P3, complete DS-160 and print confirmation page. Since you are from China(I provided your website for you below), go to the 2nd link below and click immigrant to register under K1 visa. After you register and enter info it should be clear on how to pay fee, make sure you print Bank deposit slip. just follow directions under Nonimmigrant Visa, but make sure when you register K1 is under Immigrant Visa.

Directions go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/cn/cn-niv-visaapply.asp

Register(Create Account) https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=China After you register make sure to choose K1 visa under Immigrant, it wasn't an option for me under non-immigrant.

Thanks so much

Hey guys! I haven't heard from my consulate yet and our package is still at NVC. Should I go ahead and schedule an appointment for the medical? How long are the results valid for?

Also, can someone help me find the forum for Argentinian interview stage? Thanks!

Read the P3 below to determine when is the proper time to schedule your medical and interview. Each embassy is different so I doubt someone from German, Spain or Cuba will have that answer. To find a sub-forum for your area go up to the top of the page, blue ribbon, "forums" and then scroll 3/4 of the way down the page and you should find your country/regional forum.

Here is thee P3 for Argentina:

Next, this is the Argentina US Embassy webpage:

The beneficiary is allowed to call, BUT I wouldn't recommend it unless you have international minutes on your phone plan.
