The text in the popup from the CEAC status checker is not correct for K-1s.

Not sure if I checked the status for my case properly then. It gave me the option of checking for nonimmigrant or immigrant. The nonimmigrant status check required a long confirmation code (which I have never seen before) but the immigrant status check required the MTL number I received from NVC

You have correctly checked the status of your case. immigration visa with MTL code

We finally got the email from NVC this morning and got our case number,

they didn't say when our case was received tho.

And is it just me or anyone else is having trouble with the CEAC case tracker?

It just kept loading and loading then told me the code I enter was wrong.

Then it stopped working after I refreshed it.

Could someone tell me why... thank you

You did the right thing. It's just the directions that show up in the pop-up are correct for other types of visas, but not for K-1s. For some reason they've never fixed this.

I did... and it just said this, but I'm positive I entered every letters correctly.

Should I use Chrom or IE to do the research?

The code entered does not match the code displayed on the page.

Ha, I already tried that and it didn't work either...

So if I never found out what my status was at NVC,

I'd still get packet 3 with no issue right?
