Don't be concerned right now with the misspelled name it can be addressed at the interview.

Once you have your exam scheduled, DS-160 completed and have everything else that you need for your interview, complete the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form and when your NVC case status changes to “In-transit” you can go to https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv to create an account and schedule an interview.  Make sure that you allow at least 5 working days between the date of your medical exam and the date of your interview or risk the results from the exam not arriving in time.  For your interview go here https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/  or call here 442074867822

If you have been notified that the petition has been approved and you have received the Notice of Action, Form I-797, and NVC has advised you that your application has been transferred to the Embassy in London for processing, you are required to complete the following steps to prepare for your immigrant visa interview. (Spouses of U.S. Citizens and their children applying for K-3 & K-4 visas are required to follow the same instructions). If more than 2 weeks have passed since your petition has been approved and you have not received a letter from the Embassy, please contact us through the contact form.

Fab as ever! Thank you. Where do I find the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form?

was your letter just basic K1 process steps for instructions? Mine was yet it says to follow the instructions which is just a canned statement for everyone with nothing specific to our petition or how the schedule the interview, I have to believe once the embassy gets our petition it will give us instructions how to schedule the interview with specifics to our case so I wonder if this NVC email is to make aware of  "In Transit' status and just an overall canned email.

in Our case the mail system doesnt work here so we dont have to wait for PACKET for or 3 so when case is ready we just have to send the DS-160, pay the fee and schedule Biometrics and interview!! in my case i scheduled my interview since i got nvc number like more or less i guess i would be in this batch! and then i did medical today...

04/04/18  - Mailed I-129F

04/06/18 -  NOA1 notice date email/text

10/18/18 -  RFE notification

10/22/18 -  RFE received in mail

11/01/18 -  RFE sent to USCIS

11/06/18 -  RFE received by USCIS

11/14/18 -  NOA2

11/27/18 - NVC Received

12/12/18 - NVC Case number

01/8/19 - Scheduled interview-APPROVED

01/21/19 - POE!

Your absence has not taught me how to be alone; it has merely shown me that when together we cast a single shadow on the wall.

Hey guys, I got my packet 3 today and my medical is scheduled for the 28th (was supposed to be 3 weeks ago but I had to cancel it back then).

I caught a cold and can't stop coughing now so was wondering will that be an issue at the medical exam? I know it sounds stupid so I tried calling that doctor's office before embarrassing myself here, but nobody answered. Any other wuss here besides me?

Hi @PelagijaP I did my medical exam when I had a cold and the doctor (in Frankfurt, Germany) told me it wasn't a problem for the tests they were doing. I'd say go for it....the worst thing they can do is tell you that you need to reschedule but with any luck you can do it in spite of your cold.

Our petition was finally mailed out today from the NVC!!! Congrats to all the other couples who got theirs shipped out as well :)

Now it's time to patiently wait for packet 3 ... unfortunately in Germany we need to wait for it before we can mail our visa application or schedule an interview.

Mine too just now! Finally mailed to the embassy here, I’m so happy ^_^

we’re now waiting for the letter from NVC, I was thinking maybe my fiance should call them tomorrow or friday if they don’t email us one by then :) and I’ll start filling out DS-160. Yay!

Hello again November friends, to make it quick,  we were approved, they didn't even ask to look at our evidence, once she heard of how we met it was automatic. I'll write a more in detail post later, were going to go celebrate.

Yes the USEM website does say one year BUT we have seen those within one year to one hour be excepted BUT we also have seen some that have been given a 221(g) for a new one when their current one is still within the 1 year. So, I tell folks to have it under 6 months and they won't have a problem and it's true, we have yet to see one under six months old be turned away. So, I say "Buyer beware". In the post below there are two answers from two different couples that received 221(g) for NBI's that were older then 6 months. JMHO.

Been at NBi office this morning and i ask and talk to one nbi personnel and he said that embassies need and looking  for 6 mos validity :) thanks @Greenbaum :)
