Hi Everyone, happy to join the group, filed late July but USCIS received August 1, with I485,I765 and I131 received on August 6. Received all hard copies in the mail today and biometrics scheduled for 8/29. Fingers crossed the employment and travel docs come through before December, were really hoping to go overseas at xmas :( but it looks like the estimated date will be after that. Good luck to everyone! Looking forward to sharing our waiting experiences together!

Hey girl!
Where did your husband do his medical? in Abuja?

Because the Lagos offices give the worksheet. U get the worksheet WHEN you do medical, not at POE.
The worksheet summarizes what is in the envelope that you give at POE. You keep worksheet and give them medical packet
And whatcha mean by "Booklet of records?" Could that be the worksheet we're talking about?

In Lagos.   He got a booklet with shot records in it so we sent copies of that.

Our Journey:
04/19/2014- Met online
10/2014- Visited Nigeria and he proposed!!!!
02/28/2015- Sent I-129F petition

06/2016- Third visit to Nigeria!
06/15/2016- Interview, given option to file I-601 waiver.
08/16/2016- Waiver submitted (no lawyer).
11/21/2016- Waiver approved with expedite.
01/2017- Embassy requested interview.
04/2017- Fourth visit to Nigeria.  K1 officially denied.

Everyone list is different depending on what is needed, however, this is MY checklist; however, I deleted things that are based on things privy to our case. This is the mandatory requirement list. I would recommend that you review the instructions for each form so you know what required evidence is needed.

Can you tell me, do we need 6 photos or only two? Does each package need its own seperate copies for the documentation or do we simply submit one set for the entire package?

You'll need a set of photo for each form, so a total of 6 :) and same goes to the documents. This is because they're for different paperwork, I think

2 photos for each form which totals 6. Yes copies are needed for each form because the AOS goes to your local field office and the EAD/AP applications stay in Chicago at the National Benefits Center.

I am self employed well - I own my own company. I really do not take a paycheck regularly, so hence no Pay Stubs and I'm the sole officer of the corporation so... I was going to attach the 1120S form from the IRS. Does anyone know if this will be suffice? I am above the minimum so should it even be a problem? Or giving them too much create a problem? Anyone have some thoughts here?

Hey I honestly have NO clue about it but just googled it and this is what I found -> https://learn.simplecitizen.com/2017/06/self-employed-sponsor-uscis-form-864-affidavit-support/ maybe that helps..

I think the best way to find out is to call them. I had a question about the I-485 and they were able to help me and also were really nice. 🙂

Hello everyone, I am filing EAD and AP renewal this month. Glad to join the thread :goofy:

Hi! I have a question: are you filing for renewal because you've been waiting more than a year for your GC? And if so, do you have to pay the I-131 and I-765 fees in this case? I'm curious about this because I have just sent my AOS packet but where I live (South Florida) processing times seem to be over a year long

Good luck with everything!

Review the requirements that are needed for self-employed sponsors. I believe you have to provide your previous tax years returns, bank statements showing earnings and savings amounts. But the Affidavit of Support instructions, it gives details on what self-employed sponsors are to provide as proof of financial income.

Hi, my combo card will expire in 180 days, so I can start the renewal process. No form fees! You just have to pay for the postage and photo fees. Good luck!
