Yes, they didn't take mine either, but at least the service I received was impeccable. And the $99 fee I paid for the MMR is still better than the $$$$$$$ fees that the Civil Surgeons I spoke to wanted to charge me for doing that same vaccination. 😫

No one gave my husband (fiance at the time) a DS-3025 at POE.  He gave them the envelope and he walked away empty handed except for his passport.

The clinic where he received his medical gave him a booklet with shot records, so we sent copies of that instead.

I hope we didn't set ourselves up for an RFE!

I would spend the money and do it right. Do the vaccines and submit the paperwork before the I-94 expires. Here's why:

Filling 'out of status' was ignored before, but we've all seen the new changes that USCIS is going through. The future implications are unknown.

Come September, USCIS will no longer send RFE's. They can just reject you. Do you really want to risk it? $1225 vs the money for the vaccines?

The proof of I-693 or the DS-3025 is part of the documents required for filling for an adjustment of status, not for the interview for the green card.

Do it on time and do it right. Or else you risk the future of your married life in US.

Just my two cents.

I too agree with DownToEarth here. The current administration has been retroactively getting to naturalized residents at this point, and my husband has been making sure that there is no reason for them to get to me when my papers are due. It's a sign of the times :/

Hello, guys!

Well, I just received my package back and I do not have good news. USCIS rejected my form because I filled the "Application Type" incorrectly. So, in order to make sure that I got all correctly this time, I would like to confirm something:

In the section "application type" for people who came with K1 visa, we should select  "immediate relative, Form I-130" or "K1 Visa, alien fiance of a US citizen". I selected both because I read on the internet that once you are married, you are a relative. But I guess I just had to choose one.

Hopefully, I can resend soon and my real waiting can start!

I'm looking forward to hearing back from someone who may help me!

Thank you, guys!

Hey girl!
Where did your husband do his medical? in Abuja?

Because the Lagos offices give the worksheet. U get the worksheet WHEN you do medical, not at POE.
The worksheet summarizes what is in the envelope that you give at POE. You keep worksheet and give them medical packet
And whatcha mean by "Booklet of records?" Could that be the worksheet we're talking about?

You pick one- correct choice is K1 visa
You are adjusting status based on the fact that you were admitted to the US as a K1 visa and are now married.

I'm no expert, but maybe you could try to get in touch with the clinic who did the medical examination to your husband and ask if they included a copy of the DS3025 in the sealed packet he gave at the POE

The DS-3025 is not given at POE, it's given at the medical exam. The form list all the vaccinations/immunizations received and the dates they were received. The full, detailed medical exam report was in the manila envelope that your husband gave customs during POE. What the clinic gave him during his medical would be equivalent to the DS-3025.

Our package was received on August 2nd, and I received the NOA1 via email on August 7th.
The official notice should arrive in the mail within 7-10, so yes, I guess the total waiting time for the NOA1 is around 2/3 weeks :)
