Citizenship interview

My soon to be x wife is awaiting her interview to become a citizen. She has already taken her biometrics, she is awaiting for her interview appointment. My question is will i allowed to be a participant during this interview. I believe my wife came here under false pretenses and I want the authorities to hear about her recent activities. I would like to be a part of this citizenship process.

no, I assume she is filing under the 5 year rule, not based on marriage, so citizenship has nothing to do with you,

Her citizenship interview is hers alone with her interview officer, and there’s no way you can be part of it to influence the process even if you have evidence of fraud. The most you could ever do is send a letter together with actual EVIDENCE to make such a claim, and even after that you still won’t be part of the process, however; the officer might use it to weigh in though not guaranteed. Since she’s now applying under 5 year rule (presumably), she’s applying on the basis of being a resident for those 5 years and not being a spouse of a U.S citizen so you’re out of the process. Her naturalization interview can only be adversely affected if the officer has solid concrete evidence to believe she initially entered the marriage soley on basis of fraud to circumvent the immigration process to procure a green card. As you can see this is such a high bar to meet, its best to move on and forget about her.

If you have some super solid evidence you can give USCIS a call. Your believe alone is not an evidence. 

 

Also this is extremely nasty move to just show up and ruin someones interview. This is not how it works.

No.  And considering it's NYC with NYC security.... If you did just show up out of the blue,  without her accompaniment, you wouldn't be even allowed into the waiting area much less the interview room.

 

Also curious as to how you would even know when her interview date rolls around?  Unless you are just pretending to befriend her throughout to gleam further info from her.

If you have actual concrete evidence of this (on paper), not just hunches or accusations---then you can present that information to USCIS.

However----keep in mind that the two of you spent previous years submitting a mountain of evidence pertaining to the validity of your marriage during her AOS (and if applicable, ROC) days.   That will also weigh heavily in her favor against whatever proof you have to submit now (if you have any proof).

You are divorced.  If she is applying under the 5-year eligibility rule, and even if under the 3-year eligibility with a divorce waiver, her citizenship process is just that----hers, and hers alone.  Has nothing to do with you.

So you're not divorced yet. Did she file for citizenship after 3 years, based on marriage? If so, you might want to inform USCIS that you will soon be divorced. That might delay her citizenship another 2 years.

There is no such thing. You can only ROC with a divorce waiver. You'd just have to wait the 5 years if divorced.

I would think her becoming a citizen would be a good thing for you........no more financial sponsorship regarding the I-864.

Sounds like a slippery slope that she could use as grounds for harassment and have a restraining order taken out on you.

What do you mean ? how did she came here ? marriage,visit visa or refugee ? 

 

I believe that will effect you because you didn't mentioned any thing when she got the GC
