My application turned "Ready" in Montreal and it's been dead silence since then. 

Did you do the DS-160:?  If not, do that, but make sure and print the confirmation page.  This might trigger the packet 3, it did for us.

It's just a set of instructions on what to do next and a copy of the approved I-129F. You don't really need it for anything.
