Does everyone get an e-mail (or an update on the USCIS website) when USCIS receives the fax with the proof for the expedite? If so, how many days does this usually take?

I don't know if they received mine and am considering faxing it again next week.

04/15/19: Received date

05/15/19: Biometrics done

06/07/19: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

03/19/20: Interview cancelled due to Covid

09/04/2020: Interview date

10/22/2020: I-130 approval

10/30/2020: I-485 approval

I received two days after I faxed. I sent on July 25th and received confirmation on July 27th.

I sent my fax on June 11th and got an email confirming receipt on June 14th. I resent another fax with my evidence on July 12th in a moment of desperation and received the same generic email today stating they received my fax. Funny enough both generic emails say I will receive notice "shortly".... Not sure what they consider "shortly" as I have been waiting 42 days since initiating the expedite.

I never got a confirmation for them receiving my fax. Next update was "Card is being produced" a week later. But seems to vary on case by case basis.

Does it matter if you file expedite yourself vs filing it with the senators? I filled myself and got senate to follow up after I faxed the documents. Is one way faster or the orther?

I never received confirmation that they received my fax with proof of the job offer. Today I checked my status online and it says that

"On July 22, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number XXXXXXXX, was assigned to an officer for response."

Just this message. Nothing else. I admittedly got my hopes up thinking that an officer had opened my case and would approve it but it's past 6pm and nothing has happened. Is it normal for your case to be assigned to an officer and not have any response?

I started the expedite request over 3 weeks ago.

Fingers crossed for everyone on this thread. Going through this process is rough.

That's strange... Usually they seem to assign it, send a response and close it on the same date from what I have seen and my own experience. Please let us know if you get any updates today! I'm on day 47 and counting since initiating the expedite.

So weird, like I mentioned above, On July 10, my case status changed to “your request to have your case expedited was assigned to an officer for response”“we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited”“your request to have your case expedited was completed”

And today, July 17, I have these statuses all over again! What's wrong...

image.png.654aec7aaabab8767b24e4ae33a17297.png

today 07/23/2019 the status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced.".

I just got an e-mail saying that they received my documents and that my case is under review and I will receive a decision shortly. Then they marked the case as "completed".

So instead of 3 updates in the same day, I got 1 update on the 22nd, and 2 updates on the 23rd, just to make things a bit more interesting :) At least now I know they have my documents.

I hope you get your approval very very soon! 47 days is very long. Keep us updated!

Thanks! I just got off the phone with USCIS (after a 50 minute wait on hold) and out through another service request. Hopefully it helps this time.
