Once you get approved and have your visa. Your entrance can be from air or land??? I am asking because my fiance is from mexico and I am in Arizona. Does he have to fly or can he drive through a port of entry?

As long as he goes through a port of entry and passes through customs, he shouldn't have an issue, flying/driving doesn't matter.

That is not possible.

because he is only scanning october cases. Those are not noa1 November but their last status Change happened in November. Like a name update or such.

I think, it's better to ask previous filers (e.g. June/ July filers), which experience they made.

Turn that anxiety into excitement as our time is coming up. Channel that energy into projects around your house or life that you're wanting to complete before your new life together starts. Surely you have sold old stuff you've been putting off sorting rhough / donating / selling, or perhaps need to buy a few items that will be useful for the person about to be living with you, or maybe you've been wanting to paint that room.  Or get into better shape. Or practice learning a language. Or make a list of all the restaurants, close by city centers, indoor and outdoor activities you wnat to do with your partner and put them on color coded popsicle sticks in a jar.

 

My point is, don't let the anxiety stress you out, this is coming up on a really happy time! Enjoy it. Stay active doing productive things.

 

Just a few short weeks and they will be starting on our month.

 

I will run a scan Friday (tomorrow evening) and see if there were any cases withdrawn, etc... this week or not.

EXACTLY!  Plus, for all beneficiaries it's the last time they get to really enjoy their home country - plan meeting all friends, one at the time (more meetings = more things to be excited about = less axiety), plan your bachelor/bachelorette party or farewell party. Go to places and try things you've always wanted but there was no time /money/courage. Spend as much time with your family as you can because you won't see them for quite a while! Dream about your wedding and maybe start gathering all the necessities  Just try to enjoy what you have now (easy to say, I know). But let's just TRY IT!

Hello all! I will be doing Friday evening weekly updates until we see they've actually gotten started on November, and then I will start doing daily updates.

 

I think we're still 2-3 weeks out from them even getting started for us, but I know everyone is anxious. Just say calm, it will all happen soon! 

 

Here's your updated for this week, 4/13/2018:

 

There's been 11 cases updated since my last scan on 4/6. These are probably expedited cases and special cases for one reason or another. We should conclude they HAVE NOT started work on November yet, and we'll check again next Friday.

First post. I read quite a hullaballoo about Nov. 16 filer with NOA2s. Best to them. I am a Nov. 16 filer and I'm jealous. Nothing to do but keep distracted ... Right ... Whatev. ... May we all have wonderful surprises in this waiting game.

Hello all - Im a Nov 2017 filer.

I have a question in regards to the co-sponsor form I-134. 

 

My question is this... is it possible to have a co-sponsor for the K1 and then not need a co-sponsor for the adjustment of status? 

 

For example, say I didn't work or file taxes last year, so need the co-sponsor. But then I work this year and earn enough so I file taxes and can show for the AOS so no need for co-sponsor. Is that right?

 

OR can you have 2 different sponsors 1 for the I-134 and a different one for the AOS? Does it matter?

Vets, since we're almost onto the NVC stage, has anyone come across any good NVC threads to follow regarding K1. I've searched but I've only come across CR1 filers not K's.

Anyone have any suggestions to follow any good content for what comes next for all of us....?
