Parent to US citizen

I'm asking this for someone else. She's bringing her parent over. NVC only sent one case number and invoice ID number. its in her father's name. 

What about her mother? Do they use the same number?

But the strange thing is that only the father received NOA 1 and 2

So they didn’t inquire with USCIS about the status of i130 for the mother? Are you sure separate i130s were filed?

Why bother saying that you're asking for someone else when it's clearly your case..  Are you embarrassed by sponsoring your parents or something?

yes, both checks were cash on 9/1/2017 for the amount of $535 each.

People probably do this when they fear of being attacked, so it's "friend/someone" to remain anonymous.

Should’ve inquired with the USCIS about the(your?) mother case when you recived just one NOA1. You may want to call uscis about the other i130. Call 8003755283and ask them. Let them know what you said here including that the check was cashed on 9/17 but you never got any receipts.
