I think this is a great idea. I haven't had my interview yet, and I don't know when I'll be moving etc, but when it happens I think it would definitely offer a home comfort. 
 
Hoping you can set this up so she gets to lessen the homesick feeling asap  

Hi.  I don't know how your beneficiary's country will view your financial situation.  The good thing is you have a co-sponsor for the K-1 visa.  I cannot judge you on not choosing to work.  I just wanted to point out that from everything I am reading here on VJ, if your beneficiary gets approved by the embassy consular, you get married in the US, you have to file for AOS after getting married.  You will have to prove that you meet the financial guidelines, which is higher than when applying for K-1.  Will you have sufficient income by that time?  Best wishes.

Try to relax........Depending on the POE, time of day, etc, it could be a few hours...........When my wife arrived at DFW, it took about 90 minutes..........but I certainly feel your pain........good luck......and welcome her to the US for us.....

What do you mean? They dont care because your USC spouse can leave to work in the US and it has 0 impact on your viss. Even if you would supposedly need to do something in the US also, they wouldn't care because you should not be making any solid plans without Visa in hand. 

I am so very sorry.  Try to find out why you were denied.  This will help later if you decide to file for a spousal visa.  Hang in there.

Our estimated date was moving forward in time and by the time of approval it was April 2nd. Our NOA2 date is April 1st. So pretty accurate for us.

Take a deep breath and try to relax. I know it's easier said than done but you got this! You can take your time before submitting for the interview, until you're ready to do so and it seems you're ready now. Send those papers tomorrow and ace your interview! 
Everything will be okay, just be calm and honest and there's no reason to worry. Fingers crossed and keep us posted. Wish you all the best.

Thank you for sharing with us.  I totally understand how she must be feeling.  I am Congolese, from the Democratic Republic of Congo.  I am now a US citizen.  When I first got to the US, things were very strange to me.  To top it off, I could not speak English.  I only knew a few words such as hot, cold, &, etc.  I carried a dictionary with me everywhere to help me understand some of the English words people were saying.  My first meal in the states was at the airport, immediately after the airplane landed.  I was told it was a hot dog.  I was so scared because I thought I was being offered a spicy part of a 4 legged animal that we keep as pets, to eat as my first meal.  Imagine how I must have felt.  I cried for days.  That was only the beginning of the different experiences I had.  Some were good & some not always positive.  Some people even teased me about my accent after I had learned the English language.  Ultimately as people got to know more about me & the culture I come from, I had no problem adjusting to my new life.  Friends I met along the way helped me to grow as a new American citizen & we learned from each other.  It takes time & patience.   
 
Please let her know that although she cannot see it now, things are going to be okay.  I love this country & I have a feeling that after meeting new friends, getting to know her environment, & the American culture, she will enjoy living in the US also.  Look at this as a new, exciting adventure that many people from all over the world would love to experience.  She is blessed being with a man who loves her & will be introducing her to a whole new world.  Like myself, she will not miss the bars on windows, guards to protect the compounds & communities, &, etc.  Please give her a hug from me & I welcome her to the US.  Many blessings to both of you as you start your new life together.   

Hi.  As time passes, you will see changes in your timeline.  What is predicted today, will probably be different 3 months from now.  Mine continued to change from original date & ended up being 1 month earlier than the first timeline predicted.  In the end, it was 100% accurate for us.   

Hi.  Just respond to the RFE  & nothing more.  This is why many of us here on VJ recommend people should try to do their own paperwork unless it's going to be a difficult case.  Some lawyers take cases for the money & not because they have knowledge in immigration law.  Good luck on your journey.

Congrats!  Have a quick celebration & get ready for the next round from NVC and embassy, 🤣.  If you read the info that Greenbaum created for April 2019 K-1 NOA2 to NVC, you will know each step.  He did a great job of making things simple to follow, for anyone who needs help.  Best wishes for the remainder of your journey.

Hi.  They will not read all those log sheets.  Think quality.  I would include the picture showing your ring, if you took pictures with him, friends, family, I would include those also.  You are at the I-129F packet stage & don't need extensive logs.  Your fiance can take some to his interview later.  Also, don't forget to include the letter of intent to marry, page with stamped visa, airline payment receipt, anything that shows the two of you actually met within the two years prior to filing.  Take your time & read over the entire packet to check for anything that you might have missed, & sign where requested.  You will do just fine.
