Hello,

I only recently realized my lawyer submitted forms G-325A with a couple minor date errors and WITHOUT our signatures.

I already received an RFE and they didn't mention anything about the missing signatures in the G-235A.

My lawyer says I should not worry about it and not touch it, since the G-325A is not required anymore, so USCIS probably didn't even look at it.

I haven't responded to the RFE yet and I thought I could send a corrected G325A but when looking at the forums here, please seem to recommend that if you didn't get an RFE or something requesting updates to the G-325A, not to do anything.

What is the recommendation in my case?

It will be ignored as The requirement for the G325a was eliminated 2 years ago.  I'd question the lawyers current knowledge of the process

That attorney is not proficient in immigration matters..... G325a not needed.

Hi.  Just respond to the RFE  & nothing more.  This is why many of us here on VJ recommend people should try to do their own paperwork unless it's going to be a difficult case.  Some lawyers take cases for the money & not because they have knowledge in immigration law.  Good luck on your journey.

This lawyer has proven to be very inefficient indeed. He did 2 other K-1s for friends and they absolutely loved the guy. I have done other processes with him and it all went very well, he used to be my go to attorney for immigration. I think he made a mistake and overlooked a lot of things. I am in control of the process now and on top of everything, but since I already paid, I am listening to his advice (albeit very carefully).

That said, I think the best course of action is to follow his advice and not touch the G-325As at this point and simply respond to the RFE.

And yes, I should've done it all myself with assistance from VJ. Living and learning.
